Pros: Easy to navigate, join; excellent interface, useful tools Cons: Statistics mean nothing unless you get job offers, NOT for first-time internship-seekers
Prior to this summer, during which I was aiming to score an internship, but communication problems killed my only sure hope, I had little worry about a summer job. I applied to several places looking for internship spots to gain some valuable experience...

Pros: easy, helpful, online resume Cons: too many users
My first visit to Hotjobs.com was spurred from a tv commercial. I went on looking for a new job for a friend of mine.
It was easy to use, easy to search out exactly what type of job you are looking for and even easy to list your resume. ...

Pros: Easy to use, lots of listings Cons: none
Although I have only been working at my current company for only a year, I decided that I was ready to move on to better opportunities. My job searches in the past usually involved going through the help-wanted section in our local newspaper, and...

Pros: Lots of jobs and features... Cons: Only a lot in some fields, scarce in others.
Whether or not HotJobs.com is a good sight, is all in the eyes of the beholder, or rather, the job seeker...
I say this because there are tons of listing for one field and like nill for another! I like how they have lots of jobs to choose...

Pros: Easy to use web site that will produce results. Cons: ===
Believe it or not the life of a Jedi is not an easy one. It’s not all about learning how to perform the Jedi mind trick with Yoda, or how to twirl a lightsaber with Mace Windu, believe it or not. There is a daily grind involved as well.
This...

Pros: Simple to use Cons: You won't find a job going this route
It is very odd that for an Internet company, you can have so much garbage on one site. I'm guessing that in order to make themselves look big, Hotjobs.com never deletes old job listings and old resumes. I posted my first resume on Hotjobs.com about 2...

Pros: no headhunters, blocking feature, searches relatively easy to do Cons: lack of advice/job tips information
HotJobs.com is one of the better job sites available on the internet. Unlike other job sites, it really is for job seekers and employers - and for them only. Most other sites let headhunters do searches which can be a hassle for a job seeker who would...

Pros: Good organization Cons: Small companies, city jobs only, limited job description
Let me begin this review by saying I have never personally used the Hotjobs.com site to attempt to get an interview at a company. After saying this, you might be asking yourself why I am writing this opinion and even better, what makes me qualified to...

Pros: Easy, it works, helps you to be self-reliant Cons: Not too much variety, a lot of the same companys over and over
I looked around for a while to find the perfect job search site. I tried searches like Head Hunter.com and Monster.com. These sights however were very difficult. The problem was that they provided pleanty of job info like where to send your resume,...

Pros: easy to navigate, security protection measures Cons: organization, reposting of same jobs several times
When I first pulled up Hotjobs.com I was a little concerned.
That could be because I was at work and paranoid that at any
moment my boss would materialize and see just what I was up
to. It didn't happen, though it did get me thinking...

Pros: a good site with a lot of jobs Cons: good, but not the best
I cover a lot of internet based job sites, and I'm very up to speed with the good and the bad.
When it comes to these sites, the best things to look for include:
- Number of jobs!
- Jobs in areas which fit you (for example, don't go...

Pros: Users can post resumes and track stats; lots of cool jobs posted daily Cons: some areas of site difficult to navigate
About three months ago, I began my online job hunt during an intolerable temp assignment. I had just discovered Fast Company magazine, and was roaming around their web site, thinking that if anyone had a lead on cool jobs, they would. When I searched for...

Pros: Let the Internet do the walking Cons: It may be walking alone
I know Looking for A job is hard but on the internet makes it a little less painful. I was out of work and trust me I know it hard when your running out of money and your going interview after interview. Its cost you a lot of money to search for...

Pros: A wide range of jobs Cons: Employers do not acknowledge your interest, difficult to navigate, repeat the same jobs
I am not in the job market, but I do keep a current resume and browse every now and then just to see what is "out there". I have found that there are much better job sites than hotjobs.
First of all, hotjobs seems to keep...

Pros: good network, good industry buzz among job seekeres Cons: see my experiences
My wife is a recruiter in Silicon Valley, and I asked her advice on which internet job board I should post my company's positions. Her hands-down answer: HotJobs. I have to say that I agree. Within one day of posting, I got several excellent resumes...
