Remember the cartoon where the horse kept walking because its rider held a carrot in front of its face? Well this reminds me of All Advantage. Sure, you get money. You get ONE CENT an hour. Then the only way you make more money is if others sign up - in other words, if you bring others into the trap too. You have to load their extremely intrusive "Viewbar," which gives you ads and a few useful links, but is extremely slow even on my Pentium 200 with 32mb of RAM. For a few weeks I couldn't even get the green "you're being paid" indicator light to turn on, for some unknown reason, and couldn't get it back until I erased my whole computer and started all over again... imagine that, all for one cent an hour.
Another thing I dislike about AA is, every time you go to check your account status, the server either is down, or it takes ten minutes to load up the web page. Yet another problem is, the viewbar crashes randomly a few times a week and so does my computer.
This is what takes the cake: I FINALLY got up to $20.00 in my account (took me 8 months) and the server shut down for about two weeks. When it finally came back up, I was expecting them to follow through in their promise to mail me a $20 check (which they claim ONLY takes a month and a half to arrive) and instead I got a message saying they promised me they'd send me a check once the account reached $30. Thus, I feel like a horse being teased with an unreachable carrot. This is an outrage. These people are borderline fraudulent.
So, if you don't mind all this hassle just for a $30 check in, let's see, 11 months or so, then sure go ahead sign up at AllAdvantage.
