Hotjobs.com. Hotjobs.com. Hotjobs.com. What else can I say? This site is an excellent way to get yourself known to the working world. It is as simple as it gets. You follow the instructions they set for you, then you post your resume as you typed it up, then let the offers begin. I know I'm young and unexperienced in this field, but the truth to the matter is that i even got a job from Hotjobs.com. I think highly of myself, but at the same time, I knew I didn't have much experience.
I heard about Hotjobs.com through my brother, Steve. He said just post your resume and watch. I was unsure and had my doubts. One day, I decided what the heck. I posted my resume on line and totally forgot all about it. I mean, it took no more than 15 minutes out of my time. So then a week had past and I had no recollection of filling out my resume on Hotjobs.com. Then employers such as (NetIQ, AltaVista, Nolo.com, Nonstopnet, etc.) started emailing me. Before I knew it, I was employed at NetIQ as a QA engineer. No kidding. Hotjobs.com helped me get that first job and it also helped me get my current job at NonStopNet. That is my story, believe what you will. But this site is useful. If in fact you find out that it sucks, then you can just blame me. No loss for sure, but hey, you might gain more than you expected.
