I am a net junkie and spend about 5 hours a day on the internet. A friend recently called my attention to these "get paid to surf" internet programs and I happily tried some of them out.
AllAdvantage is considered by most to be the best Viewbar out there. The bar is not a resource hog, displays only one banner ad and a small square ad and pays out $.50 per hour, which is pretty good. I have heard from several people that the checks are paid promptly and without any problems.
My problems with the viewbar are not major ones, but instead minor annoyances. First, the viewbar requires that you have Internet Explorer 5 open at all times. Not all of my internet usage is spent using Internet Explorer, so I do not get credited for as many hours as I feel that I should.
Secondly, the viewbar goes inactive if the mouse does not move for a stretch of 2 minutes. So when I am writing opinions or email, the service goes inactive, even though I am madly typing away at a hundred words per minute. What is up with that?
My third problem: If you are inactive, you don't get counted for the hours that the adbar is up. Ok, that is fair. But what is not fair is the fact that the adbar KEEPS RUNNING ADS while you are inactive. So AllAdvantage recieves advertising revenue even though they are not rewarding YOU for being the recipient of those ads.
The bottom line: If you spend a lot of time browsing the internet, AllAdvantage is for you. If you spend more online time in other applications, get a program that doesn't require Internet Explorer to be open, like GetPaid4 or DesktopDollars.
