Note: I am re-reviewing ALL of the services I originally reviewed regarding paid-to-be-online opportunities because they are outdated and now inaccurate. For more information on these programs, visit my epinions website or my homepage link on the left of this review.

Mvalue, we hardly knew ye. Mvalue, which was touted as the next AllAdvantage due to its professionalism and high payouts, is no more. The program started out strong and promising, with several interesting features such as counting your earnings on the bar and having a points/money option and privacy protection, and then shifted to a Sweepstakes type bar (like AllAdvantage is now).
Supporters of Mvalue still claimed that the sweepstakes program was one of the best on the web and the bar was still worth using. I do not personally like sweepstakes or contest viewbars, because it means that I am earning that company money for essentially nothing, unless I happen to somehow win (anyone out there actually ever win a contest on the internet??). But the bar was still a decent one, and the website was professional and inviting.
But now Mvalue is no more. The company was bought out and the sweepstakes viewbar is gone. Last time I checked, their website doesn't even work anymore.
A couple of thoughts on all these paid to surf websites going down:
1) It sucks. Although I did not promote Mvalue heavily, there are many people who spent a lot of time and energy trying to get referrals for the program. And now, even if Mvalue didnt owe them any money when they went under, all that time and energy was for nothing/
2) Its not so bad. If you are interested in pay to surf, you must realize that the amount of advertisers out there cannot support the number of viewbars out there. So basically, all the ones that cannot or will not stick around will be weeded out, one by one, until we have several good companies to rely on. The trick is figuring out which ones those are and not wasting your time with the others.
