My grandmother lives on the other side of the US. She had been hospitalized and was not expected to survive. She didn't. My mother was hysterical and I figured the best way to get flowers delivered to my grandmother was to login to ftd.com and look at some images of their bouquets and order a couple of them.
We did. The flowers arrived at the hospital on time. Everyone in the hospital thought that they were the most beautiful flower arrangements they had ever seen. Since my grandmother was in ICU, the flowers couldn't stay in her room, but they put them out at the nurse's station right in front of my grandmother's window. People would walk by and look at the flower arrangements. When my grandmother died, we ordered flowers online again from ftd.com and they definitely did not let us down. The flowers arrived on time, they were nothing short of stunning.
The on-line pictures don't do their products justice and I was a bit skeptical about purchasing flowers on-line. But I did purchase another bouquet on-line for my mother's birthday. It is definitely convenient.
Their service has been consistent the three times I had used their service.
What I would really like to see are comparison images of the different sizes of arrangements.
