Zappos.com

Zappos failed to deliver the sandals I ordered. The shoes were returned automatically to them. And when I requested they send the pair to a different address, they say they no longer carry the shoes. What happened to the pair I sent back? I look online and the shoes most similar available online are now $40 more than the ones I ordered. Here's what they wrote:

Attempting to send another pair out to you, I learned that we no longer have the size 43 in Dark Brown Leather in the regular width. We do have that shoe in a narrow width. If that will work for you, or if you would like to reorder a different style you may simply place a new order.

I have purchased from Zappos.com several times. Every time the shipping is fast, customer service excellent! I do alot of shopping online and find Zappos to be second to none! Every online retailer should take lessons from this company!

I love shopping with this online store!  I've ordered several pairs of shoes for myself, my mom as well as for my husband and not once did my orders arrive late or experienced any complication whatsoever.

Their site is excellent as far as navigation, ease of use, very detailed description of products and multiple views of items you're viewing or wish to purchase.  And did I mention they have a VAST selection of shoes you can choose from?  In fact, the selection is such that I had a hard time deciding what to get.

I have since recommended several friends, family members and co-workers to purchase from this site and they are hooked! 

Customer service is also top notch and will purchase from them again and again.

I recently had a bad experience with another retailer and was hesitant to shop online again. I was looking around the web for skate shoes and found Zappos. They have an excellent selection and I was able to find exactly what I wanted. After I ordered, Zappos was prompt with an automated e-mail informing me that they had upgraded my shipping to next day. Delivery was lightning fast as promised. The UPS man even hid the box behind my welcome mat. That's service! I would definitely order from Zappos again.

Shoes delivered at your door in 2 days for no shipping cost and can send them right back for no shipping cost, what more could you ask for? Have most name brand shoes, first quality. I haven't been to a shoe store in over 2 years because of them.

I have purchased shoes and boots from Zappos many times and recommend them highly. The shoes are great as is the selection, especially if you are like me and wear a size that is difficult to find in retails stores. Customer services has always been fantastic. I have had to send two orders back (one my fault, one not) and both have been replaced quickly and without problems.

As for the fit of the shoes being off, as one person wrote,that is what the return policy is for. Just like with clothing, different brands fit differently. Like I said, I have never had a problem with returns or exchanges. They have very clear return instructions that are easy to follow and you can print the mailing labels directly from your computer if you want, which makes the process even easier. Zappos is my favorite online shoe store, and well worth a visit if you are looking to buy some new footwear.

Zappos provides quality products in hard-to-find sizes. Their shipping is quick (usually within 1-2 days), and their return policy is unparalleled by just about any other online merchant.

They have great sales, and I've never been disappointed with them. All their customer service representatives are extremely professional and helpful too!

I don't know why everyone is raving for Zappos. The only thing I like about them is how the site organized and the pictures of the items they sell. Even though the shipping is free both ways, the prices on Zappos are OUTRAGEOUS! I have purchased a pair of Oilily shoes for my boy and a day later found them on another site $45 cheaper! I have called the Zappos web site, but never gotten their "price guarantee".
Though they do have the biggest selection of brands and items, I don't think this is a site for a smart consumer.

I have shopped at Zappos several times. They are wonderful Shipping is always free, even for returns and is very speedy. They are very interested in quality. I ordered a gift for someone , and they called because they had found a defect in it, and it was the last one. I was disheartened, but they gave me a gift certificate for the inconvenience. The prices are pretty good-especially the sales, and the website is great. I have had to exchange things for different sizes without a problem. Overall a great place to shop. Effortless!

Zappos is THE BEST, most professional and ethical internet business out there to date. Purchases arrive quickly (always within 48 hours) and if you are unsatisfied for any reason returns are easy and free! I am so pleased with their service...don't think twice: order from Zappos with confidence!

I have been shopping at Zappos.com since March 2004. I have no complaints at all - they are fantastic. Their selection is good, their customer service amazing. Truly a no-fuss return policy. This is the only place I buy shoes now.

Zappos "guarantees" Christmas delivery of all orderes placed by 1 pm 12/22. I ordered my husband's gift from Zappos on 12/21 based on that premise, and come Christmas Eve at 10 pm, still no shoes.

I called Zappos customer service and was told that the order was held up due to "UPS delays" and nothing will be delivered by 12/26. What about the Christmas Delivery Guarantee, I ask? "Well it's not really our fault, it's UPS..." says Zappos Customer Service.

I told them patiently that the delivery guarantee was made by Zappos, not UPS... but no luck. 12/26 and still no shoes.

This is my first and last order at Zappos, and I'm so sorry that I trusted them for our Christmas order. I asked them what they intended to do to back up their Christmas guarantee, but they had nothing to offer but sincere apologies.

Avoid avoid avoid this company; their guarantee is worth nothing!

I have been shopping at ZAPPOS COUTURE for a while now and the whole experience is awesome!

The prices are great. You pay no taxes or shipping. What more can you want?
I usually order 2 sizes (1 full and a half) and keep the best fitting pair and return the other one. The customer service is great!

I hope to see a greater selection of Italian and French designers in the near future.

Zappos is horrrrrrible. They're prices are extremly expensive and they don't have the selection of shoes I'm looking for. I hate Zappos, and you shouldn't shop there/
