Very very disappointing

Order placed on July 30 and it is still not fully received. They may be upgrading their warehouse or flying to the moon for all I care, all I know is that I am still missing a critical piece of my order 3 and half weeks later. The shipping date is a fiction and phoning them was useless.
I was a repeat customer but would avoid them until the problems are sorted out. It's just not worth it

My experience with Tiger Direct is not a good one. The sales rep was really nice ... right up until she got the sale. From there, the experience was absolutely horrid.
I have no computer.
They have not returned calls.
They have not returned emails.
Best purchase with a credit card. Only way I was protected.
I will never purchase from them again.

They commit credit card fraud!!

I placed an order with Tiger Direct for a notebook/port replicator kit.They informed me that it would be shipped within a week - after three weeks, it still had not arrived so I had to cancel the order and order from another vendor. 1 1/2 weeks later after I removed the authorization for the charge, they charged my credit card and shipped the order.I called the company, thinking that they would correct the problem and refund my money immediately.They refused to remove the charge(even though it was their mistake)until the merchandise was returned to them.As of today - two weeks after the shipment was returned - I still have not had the charge removed.I cannot talk to anyone at the company besides a csr and I have had it!Their activities are obviously fraudulent and intentional. I've filed formal complaints with the FTC and the BBB of Southeast Florida. I encourage others to do the same so that these guys can be put out of business and hopefully in jail.

Warning to buyers... buggy web site!

I had an item in my shopping cart and was in the process of checking out when their web site let someone else buy the item even though it was in my cart! I made several calls to customer support, and they say that their system let's people steal from each other's cart. The people at TigerDirect and their parent company, Systemax, were very rude and could care less about my concern. Other websites have clearly stated policies in this regard: for example, that the item will stay in your cart for X minutes before it's allowed to return to inventory for others to purchase. With TigerDirect, they rely on chaos. Other sites have this figured out... TigerDirect should warn people about this problem in their web site!

Lied that item was in stock; lied that item had been delivered to carrier.

I ordered an LCD TV that was listed as "In Stock" on their website and was supposed to ship within 24 hours. Their e-mail confirmation then said they were upgrading their warehouse and that some orders may be delayed. I checked the status of my order online the next day and saw that the TV had been delivered to the carrier. This message remained for two days and then changed to a message said the TV was on backorder! (Evidently they had delivered a non-existent TV to the carrier). I then looked up the TV on their website to see if it would indicate the estimated backorder time, but it still said the TV's were in stock! So I called them and was told that they didn't expect to receive any TV's for over three weeks. Worst of all, they never e-mailed me to let me know of the delay; I had to discover it myself. Needless to say, I have now canceled my order.

Last few orders -Sent wrong products, couldn't get verification, some refunds very delayed

Problems last year or so - couldn't get email verification of order (ordered via phone)- received product with incorrect specs - returned. Same for next two orders. One product that was returned(their error in sending wrong product)took over six months to get the refund. The experiences were nightmares and prompted the decision not to continue ordering from Tiger Direct, despite their great prices and, up until these past four orders, good service and delivery. Problems with using their credit for six-months interest, too. It might be phone ordering and sales representatives not knowing products, but they could have at least sent verification of order so that I could cancel before shipment.

I recently put in an order from their website on a Thursday. I received my order on Monday. I was impressed with the speed of the order, the accuracy and the packing of the order. Everything I needed came in a secure packaging with the packing order slip. I was very impressed with the selection of products, the prices of selections and the general ease of ordering.
I buy a lot of computer parts online and I found that Tigerdirect.com was a great place to shop. I am going to shop there again and would tell others to shop there.

Tops for excuses, terrible for delivery.

My wife ordered a plasma TV in mid-June for my birthday - it took nearly 4 weeks to be delivered. I ordered a laptop for my daughter - and it is nearly 3 weeks and counting. She heads overseas tomorrow. All I have gotten from customer service is one runaround after another. They tell me that they have a backlog in shipping at their warehouse of over 50,000 orders and ten days.
They sure don't deserve the top rating for delivery that they are getting from this site!

I ordered a Wintergreen 17"LCD Monitor (CMV) and a Brother copier from TigerDirect.com and have not received my rebates. Their business model for rebates are designed to confuse the public and deny them their rebate funds through a very convoluted application method. I have sent a letter to Carl Fiorentino, President and copied the Better Business Bureau in Southeast Florida, Great Bend, IN, the Florida and Indiana Attorney General's offices. So far the Florida Better Business Bureau and Indiana Attorney General have followed up with me. I have sent a second letter to Carl Fiorentino by email and US Postal Service. Carl Fiorentino will hear from me each week until this issue is resolved to my satisfaction.
For the general public, please do not purchase from TigerDirect.com, you are in for a great disappointment and will lose money. The sweet smell of a low price is lost due to their convoluted business model which does everything to confuse and deny a customer their rebate which TigerDirect.com advertises as the initial low price. Only after you receive the product do you realize you have to go through a multi phase and convoluted task to claim the rebate.

I ordered a Firewire 800 pci card from TigerDirect. They sent me a Firewire 400 card and I sent it back. I then ordered the same card from Amazon.com, who partners with TigerDirect. They sent me the same 400 card. I contacted TigerDirect and was told that they did have the card that I ordered but it would cost four times the advertised price! They failed to honor their advertised price and I'm stuck paying for the shipping to return these cards. Avoid TigerDirect!

Sold me incomplete Ink jet cartridge set, but Otherwise OK

Good overall - Fast shipping, good prices. BUT when I ordered on the phone, they sold me an inkjet cartridge set that was not original ink from Canon, and was missing the main Black ink cartridge, and then would not send me the missing cartridge when I called. They also hung up on me the first time I called.

Bad first experience, bogus cancellation and uninterested Customer support

Ordered a book scanner and a blue tooth adapter which was on sale. Without prior notice the order was suddenly canceled, supposedly b/c of an incorrect billing address belonging to the card. We have had the card for years, spent lots on it, never a problem.
Interestingly enough it turns out that the adapter was sold out completely and that they could replace the order for the book scanner immediately, without even having to check the same billing address again !!!
Clearly a bogus cancellation b/c of sold out product and not even a notification.
Customer support didn't care too much about all of this especially not the fact we needed to do a rush job with the scanner which is now in jeopardy because of non-delivery.

Tiger isn't quite ready for Internet shopping

Totally unsatisfactory. They confirmed my internet order by e-mail, then after four days sent an e-mail demanding that I call them (I was working in Asia at the time) or they would cancel the order -- and that I could NOT respond by e-mail, since they might not read it. I canceled the order by e-mail, and bought the product from another vendor, paying for rush shipping to meet a deadline. Meanwhile, Tiger continued to send warning e-mails for a week. For an internet retailer, completely unsatisfactory.

TigerDirect has been completely unresponsive, since they made the sale (a refurbished laptop) and convinced me to take out the extra warranty. I have had a problem with my battery holding a charge and cannot get any response from the sale rep since he sold me the warrant. For a few more bucks, I could have purchased from Dell or Gateway. Don't recommend dealing with this outfit.

Monitor quality is fine and shipment was made on time but Tiger Direct does not honor their rebate guarantees. Order accuracy was fine.

Excellent service, prices, and shipping. Cumbersome rebate process - go to website, fill out form, wait for email, respond to email, then print form, fill out new form, mail it in. My product was bundled with "free" unnecessary software. This software came with $70 in multiple rebates that I had to follow this process for. In order to have a receipt that would qualify for rebates, Tiger cut the price of my real purchase and charged me 69 dollars and some change for the "free" software. I would have rather just paid the lower invoiced price for my product and not bothered with all the extra rebates for a software product I do not want or need.
