May 18 08.Ordered a backpack for 80.00.Can't reach by phone or e=mail.$#&holes.Kneedraggers.com is the best,You get confirmation& daily updates all the way to your door when it arrives.Used someones advice for ext.# dialed 100 and left a message to cancel good thing they're to far from me to knock on their door

Like many of you I have become complacent about ordering online. No more! Ridegear is a black hole apparently run by brown holes. 1 month after ordering I have 4 email complaint numbers from their automated customer help e-mail and no access to their phone. No product has been shipped and there is no access to their system even though they charged my credit card. Don't be foolish enough to order from them. E-commerce is getting a bad name if they don't do something about sites like this!

RideGear Customer Service - Like Passing An Angry Flaming Porcupine - STAY AWAY

STAY AWAY! This company is awful stem to stern. I checked out their site before placing my order and they looked reputable. They have the hacker safe logo kicking and an 800 number prominently displayed in the header on their website, but stay away from these guys.

I received one automated response the day I placed the order and heard nothing back from customer support for 22 days. I repeatedly emailed and called them. When you call their 800 number you stay on hold for 11 mins and 5 secs. (I have a timer on my work phone). You are then forwarded to a default message, asked to call back later and hung up on.

I eventually had to spam their customer support until someone responded only to tell me my order hadn't shipped and would be at least another 7-10 business days.

They never provided tracking information or responded to my emails. They didn't answer phone calls. Now I find a huge list of horrible reviews about them.

Like many others, they stole my money. I have been waiting for 2 months to get my money back for an order that was canceled because they could not ship the product.

Here is some contact info that might help the others who have had issues with this P.O.S. web site. Call him up and tell him how bad his company sucks!

Speed of delivery was horrible from this vendor. I ordered 3 items, 2 of which arrived about 2 weeks late. The 3rd item never arrived at all, and I had to take an hour and half of my own time a week later getting in touch with ridegear so that they could tell me they were out of stock and would be sending me a refund. Well, it's been five months, I've called six times (spending at least an hour each time trying to get in touch with them), and I have yet to receive a refund. I will NEVER do business with ridegear again.

Hey there, don't shop ridegear.com!! Despite the great prices and apparently massive selection, there is no way to track an order online, and no way to make direct contact with a sales representative. You can only talk to someone to place an order -- if you are inquiring about an existing order they will hang up.
The 10% of people on this site who recommend the store were lucky -- item was actually in stock and shipped!

I placed an order on April 14. It is May 9 and I simply can't get an email or phone response! I finally talked to a human today after calling for the umpteenth time, and I was hung up on!! WTF?

Please don't shop ridegear.com. This is one e-commerce site that needs to go out of business!

I ordered a jacket. They took my money out of my account and I haven't been able to get anyone to reply to my emails and there is never an answer when you call them. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!! Now I am left to worry about who has my account information.

Learn from the others mistakes and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

I bought a pair of boots from them and used Google checkout. What you get is: No order confirmation; No response to e-mails; No way you can get to support over the phone for 2 1/2 weeks.

I am trying to get a refund from Google checkout... Lost time and very frustrated...

I also made the mistake of doing business with this company after I read these bad reviews. I ordered some gloves from this company and it stated on their site that the gloves were in stock. 1 week later and I haven't seen the gloves nor have I received an email stating they have been shipped. I placed an order for a helmet through www.parts411.com 2 days after I placed my order with ridegear.com and I received my helmet 3 days later. Ridegear is a terrible company to do business with. I am happy I didn't make any large purchases through them. I have emailed them and called them numerous times with no luck. I'm gonna give it a few more days before I contact my credit card company to credit me back my money.

DO NOT BE FOOLED WITH THEIR LOW PRICES AND FREE SHIPPING.. THE REASON IT'S FREE IS BECAUSE THEY ARE SO SLOW AT GETTING YOUR STUFF OUT TO YOU, THAT'S IF YOU'RE LUCKY ENOUGH TO EVEN RECEIVE ANYTHING FROM THEM... I WOULD RECOMMEND WWW.PARTS411.COM OR EVEN WWW.MOTORCYCLE-SUPERSTORE.COM

I AM STILL WAITING for the order I placed a MONTH ago for STOCKED items. They didn't bother notifying me even once about delay. I have email them at least 5 times and got NO response. When I called they said you should get your order in 7 days. I am going to CANCEL this order.

Please order from some other store. These people will make your life miserable.

I bought a Large jacket on clearance. Nowhere did it say it was a woman's large. I'm a large man so I returned it. Over a month and no refund. When you get a human on the phone they're OK but email responses from them are one in twenty. One star rating.

I wished I had read all these comments before I bought from them. I had no idea any online store could still be in business after all this.

I ordered a pair of gloves on 3-3-08 and have not received them. I have been unable to contact them. Phone does not get answered and 3 separate emails have never been answered. Fortunately I only pain about $10 and have since figured I will not get the gloves or my money. I used PayPal since I had some money in my account instead of Visa and I don't feel I have any recourse at this point. I would like more information on how to contact a DA. Is it the DA for Santa Cruz? BBB is probably of no help.

I definitely agree with the previous posts - this company is not a good one to deal with! I waited over a week for any sort of information about my order, then finally called them only to find out that they made some sort of administrative mistake and that was what was supposedly holding up my order.

So, as it stands today, they do indeed have my money but I don't have the products I ordered. It may take an additional two weeks to find out if I even get the stuff I ordered.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company, I wish that I had!

Wow, I absolutely agree with what a lot of people have already said about this store's sub-par customer service and business methods. Without boring everyone with a big long tirade, I'll sum it up as: They did not follow my shipping requests, they shipped a wrong item, and when I returned that item for a refund, I never received my money back. A very poor way to do business. I will not shop here again, and I'd advise others to do the same. Though they have some of the better prices in the industry, it's not worth the very high risk that you will be cheated out of more money in the end.
