Great Experience after a dreadful experience elsewhere

After ordering my TSS-450 from a tax free state location, I never heard anything for two weeks. Finally, I received an e-mail that my item was out of stock and that my order was cancelled. I ordered the same item from Crutchfield on Monday and had my home theatre system delivered by Thursday. What a great experience. I will buy from Crutchfield again

I ordered from them 2 times and both times, very quick and reliable delivery service. I recently ordered on a Thursday and my order was at my door on Monday with standard shipping! So yes the shipping provider was quick but they had to also pick, pack , and ship it out very quick as well. I received a Car CD Player and obviously I needed instructions on the wiring and assembly which they have a toll free # and they answered my questions very quickly. Great customer service ! Also they best pat I didn't mention was that they included the CD wiring harness FREE, the installation kit FREE, and the Antenna Adapter FREE !!! I went to Best Buy and they wanted $270 for the same stuff I got from Crutchfield.com for $119.95 for !!! I highly recommend ordering from them. I will be a loyal customer for years to come.

Simply The Best!!!

I've been ordering car audio components from Crutchfield since 1991 and have always been satisfied. The installation kit and wiring harnesses that they throw in with the purchase of a head unit and/or speakers make installation a piece of cake. I could get the same equipment cheaper at various online etailers but I know exactly what to expect from Crutchfield so I keep going back. The installation instructions that are included at no charge are worth their weight in gold.

Last month I was shopping for 4"x6" speakers for the dash of my car. I found the ones I wanted and they had a set in their Scratch and Dent inventory. I saved $10 and couldn't find a scratch or dent on either speaker.

I highly recommend Crutchfield to my friends and family. You might pay a little more but in my opinion it's money well spent.

Really, this place is a pleasure to deal with. Due to my error (I mistyped my e-mail address), I did not receive an e-mail confirmation of my purchase, so the next day I called them. The pleasant customer service rep quickly figured out the problem and immediately sent out a confirmation e-mail to my correct address. But that's not the best part, during our conversation, he says, "I see that UPS rescheduled your delivery from today to tomorrow [I had paid for overnight). I'm going to refund you the difference between overnight and standard shipping." Boom, $21 bucks saved just like that in spite of the fact it looked a UPS problem. They're really in a class by themselves.

Crutchfield is your one-stop for all electronics purchases. They work hard to earn your business with every transaction made. I wouldn't place my faith in any other company for being as friendly and courteous and helpful as Crutchfield has been. Every purchase I have made from them has been on-time or early with delivery and have never made a mistake. The few interactions I've had to make with their customer service department (either for questions or recommendations) have been very pleasant. They have very qualified, easy to understand and helpful employees working through phone and e-mail customer service. In general, I won't shop anywhere else if I can buy it here. The only complaint I could foresee anyone having is that Crutchfield is slightly higher on prices than elsewhere. But that extra money comes out of free life-time (as long as you own the product) tech support, incredible return policy (first 30-days return/exchange with return postage paid if you aren't satisfied for any reason) and ability to consistently deliver exactly what you are looking for in a very reasonable amount of time.

I've made several purchases over several years and have found all aspects of my experiences to be positive. Had one returned item experience and all went smoothly including a superb turnaround time. The only negative would be that it seems that one of their advisors tended to push the Kenwood brand and I did not have good results with that particular equipment which was an auto CD changer.

I have ordered many things from Crutchfield over the years and have never had a single problem. Everything has been handled just as if the customer support person or sales guy is sitting right in front of you. Once I bought a Polk sub from them that was defective(not their fault) and they sent me a new one in 3 days and had me place the broken sub in the packaging of the new one and they suplied a return label!

They aren't the cheapest - but you get what you pay for; brand new, fully warranteed equiptment delivered to your door in a timely fashion. I may sound too happy about these guys but I've been burned many times with refurbished items and bait and switch tactics by other guys. Crutchfield was around way before the internet and are rock solid in my book.

What a relief! Talk about covering all bases. Crutchfield not only gives you every detail you would need to install a car stereo but gives you the accessories you'll need for free. The vehicle we were installing the stereo in was an older model and they still had the information and accessories we needed.
I compare prices on every purchase before I buy. We actually found a better price at best buy and purchased the stereo there. After the slow service, hidden installation fees (advertised free installation) and attitude problems we experienced with best buy my husband returned the stereo 10 minutes after the purchase.
We paid about $4.00 more at Crutchfield and had a better all around experience.

Lighting fast customer service finds my receipt after 2 years!

I purchased a Sony Mavica CD300 Digital Camera from Crutchfield. I wasn't displeased or particularly pleased with their service at the time of the purchase, it was just another store. However, I have had no end of troubles with the camera, getting it supported by Sony, getting it repaired 7 times, the list goes on and on. Anyway after more than 2 years since I bought the camera, Sony agreed to buy the camera back at the purchase price IF I could give them a sales receipt.

I had lost the receipt and was in despair but called Crutchfield just in case they could do it. A very pleasant lady on the other end listened to what I called a "extra-ordinary" request, laughed and emailed AND faxed the receipt within 10 min of the time I hung up. What a relief! I'm very thankful for Crutchfield, they saved me over $500!

I was on hold for less than a minute waiting for customer service and they did everything I needed faster than I expected. I have nothing but good things to say about them and their customer service.

I ordered a Passport 8500 Radar/Laser detector by phone, and the operator was very helpful, giving me the name and phone number of the manufacturer of the unit, so I could get answers to questions I had about features. After ordering the unit, I received it in two days, without having to pay for expedited delivery.

I do a lot of online shopping. I can safely say this is the best customer service experience I have EVER had. I received a defective antenna part of my Sirius Sportster R kit. I had already activated it before I was able to discover the problem. I just knew I was going to have to unactivate it, send it in, and wait. WRONG. The great folks there just told me to find the part, buy it and fax them the receipt and the would credit me. I didnt believe they would really do that, but I thought what the heck. I got a follow up call that same day to tell me they have received my fax..within two or three days I got the refund check. Stores like Overstock and the others have made me expect the worst from online stores. Crutchfield renewed my faith there are good stores still out there. I was almost shocked that they really wanted me to be happy with my purchase. It is sad that we have come to expect so little from our stores. Crutchfield IS customer service.

The thing I was looking for was a good website, and good consumer support. That’s all I got here and then some. I asked questions through E-mail at around 11:00est and they sent me a response in no time. That’s what I call good service.

I used a money order to through snail mail to receive my order, and I thought it would take forever. Just recently I received an E-mail with my tracking number on my order. I am going to receive it in a couple days. That totals one week from when I mailed the money order to me receiving the order to my doorstep, and I got free shipping it makes me even more happy.

This is a very good site to buy from just on the pure fact that they are more reliable than other guys.

The only complaint I have with Crutchfield is one of their financing options - Sony Financial. I have had trouble with Sony regarding incorrect calculations of available credit, etc. Crutchfield has been helpful in intermediating with Sony, but the issue is not yet resolved.

Lots of information on the product on the Crutchfield website. Delivery faster than I expected. Device itself is a little disappointing, but I should not expect full stereo from a set of small speakers under the TV.
