Everything as advertised. http://www.compuvest.com/. I bought RAM for an older Compaq Proliant server. They had what I needed, the price was great. They shipped the same day (from Renton, Washington). Two days later, a very well packed box was in my mailbox (in Florida). I plugged the DIMMs in the slots, and my old server has a bit more useful life in it now with twice as much RAM. Awesome. Well above my expectations. I'm not sure what kind of "special postage stamps" were used. The Post Office did their part as well. Did I mention they were quick? I placed my order at 10:00am EST on Monday, and had the product in my own hands by 10:30am  EST on Wednesday. http://www.compuvest.com/, (and David 55, the Account Rep there) on a scale of 1 to 10, they rank 11.

I was amazed with their service. I needed some additional memory for my computer, and, after spending some time looking for the best deal for that particular item, I found it at Compuvest.com. I placed the order on-line at 2AM on Tuesday, and the same day afternoon I got an e-mail telling me that the item had been shipped (they also provided me with the UPS tracking number). I received the parcel on the next day, Wednesday, around noon. That is, the whole on-line purchase took only 34 hours! The best on-line shopping experience so far!

ordered a motherboard two weeks ago confirmed they would ship cod got the money order. still no board, sent an email the board would be here in three to four working days. still no board. called was told order was on hold they could not confirm my shipping address. i will not order from them again and will not accept the board now if it was free. should have told me this before the money order was made out. i might not get my money back but they sure won' get any of my buissness.

I received a Dell printer from Compuvest.com but, I am very disappointed as this printer is not working. The package does not have any installation CD as it is suppose to have. I tried calling customer service but phone line is horrible that you could barely hear anything. I conclude that I lost my money at this point.

I just read another bad review. So, I would not recommend anyone to buy from this site.

I have no complaints with this merchant. My first experience with Compuvest was excellent. Best price I could find (AMD AThlon XPprocessor), web site easy to navigate, good communication and prompt delivery, no problems with tracking. Will use again.

A non confirmed billing address by their inefective system was the issue for my order.
Although billing address was confirmed by PayPal, a fax transmitted to them by my credit card company and that they even received payment through PayPal (which the refused)
They imperatively wanted a copy of a picture ID. Kind of
obsession of theirs. I refused to play their stupid game and sent them to hell.

ONLY THIEVES ARE SO SCARED TO BE THEFT.....

I received an email saying the order was on hold pending verification of credit card, but after contacting Customer Service, we discovered it was already shipped. Everything arrived on time. Good service.

Best price, naturally, but it arrived very fast without having to pay rush charges, and the product was in very good condition though it was a refurbished.

Compuvest had a very low price on an item I wanted (Zip Drive Iomega 750mb). They did exactly what I asked for and am glad that I chose to take a risk and try them out. My order was placed and shipped quickly. I will definitely be back.

I called on Monday to order a Compaq hard disk the web said was available. The rep said they were out of stock, but some were due in Wednesday, so I ordered with 2nd day air to (hopefully) get it by the weekend. I called back Wednesday to check and was told it had been drop shipped directly from their supplier. I got it Thursday, double boxed and factory sealed. Great source of legacy HP / Compaq drives.

Was surprised at the low cost of shipping and speed product was received. Excellent product. Would do business with vendor again.

I placed an urgent order on Monday for a laptop and paid for expedited shipping which was supposed to make delivery on Wednesday. When it didn't arrive on Wednesday customer service said that it would arrive on Thursday. When it didn't arrive on Thursday, they said it would arrive on Friday. When I asked about getting a tracking number they said that they "must have misplaced it" but they again assured me that it would arrive by Friday afternoon.

Around noon on Friday, I received an email saying the item was out of stock.

I left a message trying to get an explanation but the call was not returned.

i placed an order with Compuvest and was waiting for my laptop. i called the next day to add an extended warranty to my order. after ordering a carrying case and extra battery from a third party, i was sent an email saying that my order was canceled because of they sold out of that item. called Compuvest and spoke with a manager named "andre" and was told that i would receive the laptop when it arrived at their warehouse. i sent an email to andre summarizing what was stated in the conversation to confirm in writing and never received a response. i then emailed their customer service contact and still no response. because i can't find anything comparable to the laptop i ordered, i had to return my accessories at a loss of over $50 shipping both ways. this is unacceptable. please don't make the same mistake i made of ordering from this company. the sad thing is that the laptop is still listed on their website over 2 weeks after they told me it was sold out!!! i wonder how many other unsuspecting customers had this happen to them?

This was my first purchase with compuvest and I expect to be a returning customer. First-rate service, extremely quick ship, careful packaging. What online shopping should be.
