A very poor on-line shopping experience:
Their website listed an item as in stock when it was not.
They charged my credit card before they received stock.
They happily canceled the order for the back-ordered item,
but failed to credit my bankcard account.

BUYER BEWARE! I bought a car seat from BabyAge. Unfortunately it did not fit properly in my car. BabyAge refused to return my money because the "box had been opened"! I obviously could not have known it wouldn't fit until I opened the box! I have read other similar complaints from this vendor. Now I'm out $180. Simply not worth the risk.

I will never shop with this company again. I placed my order, and it shipped in a terrific and timely fashion. I had it within three days. However, when the product came, it turned out that my son couldn't use it - he was too tall. So all the invoices and the website say that all I need is a return authorization code. Easy, right? Not hardly. I sent THREE emails through their website, called TWICE and left messages, and it's now two weeks later and I *still* have had no contact. Thanks to one of the parents' groups, I've obtained the CEO's email address and sent him my complaint, but I will definitely not shop here and would not recommend it to anyone. The customer service was abysmal.

I am so disapointment with my order. That I would never buy from this store again. I ordered March the 23th got one piece at a time. Then when I thought I was going to get the rest of my order. NO May the 14th and still waiting on 2 pieces of my order. Hasnt even been shipped yet. The only thing good is that it was a good price. I ordered this for my grand daughter and she will be here before I can finish her room. I have called them several times and the first one told me it would be mailed out the 4th of May. If you dont have 3 months to wait dont order here, Good price dosent mean anything when you cant finish a room for your baby.

Terrible Company To Deal With

This company is absolutely horrible. I ordered a glider from them on December 7, 2007. I was told that the glider would arrive to me that next week as it was in the warehouse. I received it on December 24th, 2007 just in time for X-mas. Still a little unhappy about it being 2 weeks late. I open it to find the chair damaged. I call on Dec. 26th to get a replacement and finally got them to process it on Dec. 31, 2007. Called back in a week to check progress, nothing was done even though I was told it was processed on the 31st of December. So I had them reprocess it. Called back a week later still hasen't been processed. So I asked just to get my money refunded. Ever since then I have been calling every day and it is now 2 weeks later and still don't even have an answer of when they are going to reprocess my order to give me my money back. I am in the process now of contacting a supervisor. I am so upset with there service that I would love to fire all their reps right now.

Horrible experience. The tracking number they gave me with the confirmation email did not exist on the FedEx site. I sent several emails asking about my order and didn't get a reply back. I called their customer service number several times and was put on hold every time for 15 minutes, at the end of which a recording said the mailbox was full and to try again later. I'm not sure how these people have got the BBB seal and the "Trusted Store" approvals. Eventually I had to cancel the charges on my credit card and let them dispute it with the company.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I ordered a glider on 5/22 that said would ship in 3-5 days. Credit card was charged the next day. When I checked my order status it said In Process. Finally called on 5/28 and they had no info. Called back 5/30 they said I would hear back 24-48 hrs. Nothing... Called to cancel on 6/3 and was told it would take 1-3 days for them to communicate the cancel and chances are good that I will still receive anyway. Called today 6/4 to see if response from original inquiry was in and I was told when I put it the cancel request it canceled the inquiry so I still do not know if has shipped. It is now 13 days from my order, 12 days from my card being charged and I still know NOTHING about the status. I am off to the store now to buy another Glider and praying to god that I don't end up with 2.

Good products and prices. Terrible customer service! In the past I did order a carseat that did arrive within a week and a half of ordering. However, I have since placed an order for another item and, as others have stated, was charged immediately and sent a confirmation by e-mail. Now that a week and a half has gone by with no item I have tried NUMEROUS times to contact them by phone and e-mail at no avail. I finally figured out how to look my order up online and found that the item is back ordered. They never sent me any information about this. I am now getting American Express involved to try to get a refund. I would no longer recommend this vendor.

NO, NO, NO! Buy from a legit company

Do not buy from this company! I purchased a Peg Perego Pliko Lite stroller from them. The box had previously been opened, the cup holder was missing, no Baby Age paperwork included. Baby Age removed all serial numbers from the box (actually cut them off)and removed official Peg Perego tags from product (the ones that say this is a genuine product). Only after I called did they admit they were not an authorized Peg Perego dealer, so no Peg Perego warranty either! After several heated discussions, they would only give me store credit and would not pay for return shipping. Since they would not resolve this issue, my credit card company has removed the funds from their account. Bottom line, beware when the price is significantly lower then other vendors. You get what you pay for!

Baby Age is a TERRIBLE company

My experience with them was terrible. I ordered my sister a stroller for her baby shower on July 18th they took my money July 20th. I never received an email from them so I went on their site and checked my order. It was there and they had taken my money. So I waited for them to send it. I finally emailed them 8 days later because i hadn't received any email from them about my order- not even a receipt. They said they would respond the within 24 hours of receiving the email - I gave them 48. finally I called customer service they put me on hold for 10 min while trying to figure out my order and finally told me they didn't even have the stroller and that they were going to take it off the website right then. The only good thing was that they returned my money right away.

We ordered quilt clips for our daughter's room. The service was laughable. After placing the order, we were informed that it would take 4-6 weeks to process and ship the order. We thought this was an unusually long time for an internet company, but thought we'd wait and see When the order finally did ship, they shipped the wrong item. I had to wait 15 minutes on hold before I could get through to customer service.

They did ship a replacement order, which arrived in 2 days! What's up with that? They can ship a replacement order in 2 days, but it takes 5 weeks for the original order to ship?

I faxed and e-mailed complaints to the company and have received no replies. There are plenty of baby/kids internet retailers out there. I would avoid BabyAge.com like the plague.

BEWARE - CREDIT CARD CHARGED WHEN MERCHANDISE IS "OUT OF STOCK!!"

I ordered two booster seats from BabyAge specifically because the pad was reversible and was a matching color for our van. When the first seat arrived, it was not the correct model, did not include a reversible pad, and was not the right color. The second seat did not arrive and upon checking the website, it now says "Out of Stock." I seem to be having the same experience as everyone else - credit card charged up front for the entire order, long waits on the phone only to be bumped to a voice mailbox after 10 minutes, and an automated response to my e-mail telling me that I used the wrong complaint form and my e-mail was not delivered (I used a direct link on their website for the form). I've had wonderful experiences of shopping online during the past six years - guess I finally got burned. Beware!!

My wife and I have been fighting with Baby Age to return a product that was a duplicate of a gift we received. Not only is their "customer service" rude and unhelpful, they will not accept a return of their product even though it was NEVER OPENED. We received an email stating that the item was returned due to "customer remorse", we had to pay for the return, and then they said that we had opened the box. They won't give us our money back back even though the box was never, ever opened. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE CHEATS!

I used them through Amazon to buy a birthday present for my daughter's 4th birthday. They screwed up the delivery, didn't notify me, and I ended up having to buy another gift for her at the last minute. If you need something on time don't use these guys. They suck!

Very Good. Would have liked to have more information on the top of the stairs gate, however, as it states on the box that it will not work in sheetrock if there is no stud...this may have changed my choices.

I love BabyAge! The prices are great and the merchandise is top quality. I had one problem with this order which was that I tried to use a coupon code which would have given me 10% off my order and the site kept saying I couldn't use it even though it was valid. I called customer service and left a message ,but never received a call back. I went ahead and bought the merchandise although I was dissapointed to not receive the discount.

Best price of all merchants, online or bricks-and-mortar. Very good selection of products (there are a lot of different Britax Marathon seat cover styles). Essentially free shipping (only $3.95 for entire order). Online ordering was smooth. Product arrived on time in a reasonable amount of time. Tracking shipment was very easy - didn't even have to visit FedEx site and enter a tracking number, just clicked on link in e-mail confirming order shipment. Would not hesitate to shop with them again; I'm very satisfied with the experience.

I tried to find a bassinet liner and fitted sheet at most of te well known store websites and finally found what I needed at babyage.com at a reasonable price. I am glad that I have found one more resource for my baby stuff.

I bought this item because it was the lowest price (lower than Amazon) and one of the few still showing in stock. I received no notification of my order, but was billed immediately - gave them a week and contacted them, to which I found the item was backordered by the manufacturer.. not in stock. It was to be shipped two weeks later, but when I contacted again after it was to be shipped, they replied quickly that the item was discontinued and gave me a prompt refund. Good customer service, if you want to contact them first - but not much in the communication department. Great price.
