This was my first order with Adorama and I was totally thrilled with the whole transaction.  I wanted to be assured of fast delivery, so I ordered my camera by phone, rather than online.  The sales rep was courteous and super-efficient and my Canon A590 arrived three days later, as promised.  Oh yes, and it was a great price!  Thank you, Adorama.

For several years I have been noticing that service by companies in the USA, is not like it used to be in the 1970's. To my surprise Adorama is behaving like the companies used to behaved. That means very special attention to the client, which is buying their products. You feel that they care to give you the best effort, so that you feel that your money is worth it. They treat you in a manner so right, that you think that finally you find a company really responsible. So far my experienced is very positive and I would encouraged anyone looking for the adequate treatment, to buy products from Adorama.

Outstanding & Efficient. I was promptly shipped the order, a Nikon SB800 flash, and given confirmations via email. Item arrived quickly and as specified and service was top-notch. Great company. Highly recommended.

I ordered an eyepiece on Nov, 2nd. Yes it was at night,, so I knew it would not ship that day. However it is only an eyepiece. Maybe half a pound in a small box. Well after two days of hearing nothing. I emailed them, no response. I called them and they said it was shipped on Nov 4th. Wrong. The funny thing is they seemed to not know what was going on. I did get the item on Nov 4th. By the way they Tobias told me to screw off and hung up. Yep a New Yorker attitude. It would appear it's left hand has no clue what it's right hand is doing. It is amazing how they stay in business. I will only go back if I go to their NY,NY location. Beats the confusion.

I have used Adorama before and have always been satisfied, This most recent purchase was for, hard to find, printing supplies, not stocked by many others. I placed the order for 2 day shipping and received it the very next day. I will continue to shop here and highly recommend there products and services.

Quick shipment, but a BIG CAVEAT with regards to shipping.

Adorama requires a live signature at the delivery address.

They provide no option to get the package held at the UPS depot. I work during the day when UPS delivers, so this leaves me no opportunity to receive the package. Adorama does not conspicuously state this on their web site. Only after UPS made their first delivery attempt, did I become aware of this unique Adorama policy. After calling customer service, and speaking with a supervisor, I was told the cost of the item would be refunded, but not the shipping charge. I will be contesting this charge with my credit card company.

I have no problem with Adorama's price or products, just their draconian shipping restrictions.

I ordered a pack of hard to find 6x7 negative sleeves. As usual it was shipped fast with no hassles at all. It's a bonus, too, that I can now use PayPal to pay for my purchases.

ADORAMA is well stocked but the service was terrible. I placed an order with a sales person named Meyer who emailed me a confirmation of my order. I called back to say one of the items he was sending me was different than what he suggested. He tried to explain it was a better model and therefore more ex pensive. When I said the same item was advertised for less on their website he became angry. I suggested to remove the item and just send the other items. He said he would rather cancel the order. I confirmed with him if that was what he wanted to do, he replied, yes. So I place the order at another company. The next day, I get an email that he sent the order. I sent a return email stating I already placed another order and asked him not to send the items. He emails back asking me to call the other company and cancel with them. I told him I would just refused their package. I actually bought all the items at a lower price elsewhere.

I started shopping with Adorama about 6 months ago. My wife and I have never been dissapointed yet. We go to search engines to look for Camera items that we are looking for and the biggest part of the internet stores that are really cheap price are always out of stock. Its seems like a come on for those cheap stores. Adorama always has the items in stock and most of the time are cheaper price than even the fly by night outfits. We always get our products with-in 3 days of ordering it. Of course we are only two states away, but 3 days for reg shipping price! We love it. Service is also great. We had a small problem with the camera we bought once. After we sent it back,within a week we had a new one. Now thats service. Now when we want to buy anything for our cameras we don't go to search engines any more we just go straight to Adorama. I can't say enough good things about Adorama, you will just have to find out for yourself.

Great service and a rapid delivery. I've order the lens on monday, it was shipped on thursday and by Wednesday it was home... and Guess what, I live in Canada.

Item was as described and shipping was very fast, but when I had a question about the product customer service never responded'

I called to inquire about the Dimage A2 camera. The sales clerk on the phone informed me they no longer carried the camera. I merely asked why and the clerk started to get an attitude. I inquired why Minolta discontinued the camera. The rude clerk said very rudely that he doesn't work for Minolta and hung up on me. Ill have be stranded on an island and will never order from this company even if this was the last place on earth.

I ordered a Nikon D40 kit, a Nikon camera bag, a warranty for used cameras, and two 4 gb memory cards from Adorama. Their shipping and response time was very quick. Their selection of new and used equipment is very good, and if you ever have any questions don't hesitate to call them and ask because they know photography equipment and can help you with your purchase.

I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for photo equipment. I will most definitely use them again. If you're ordering something from them, I'd recommend creating an account so you can get updates on future products and deals, but also so you can check your order status.

The only reason I didn't rate their selection as Excellent is because I think their used equipment (specifically lenses) inventory seems to fluctuate very quickly and often other retailers have lenses that Adorama doesn't have in stock. For this reason, I'd recommend checking with Adorama and then if they can't get it (or already have it, but it's not listed on the website) then looking elsewhere.
