Pros: Excellent Web Site Cons: Freshness and delivery times.
The title of this review says it all. I am, and have been very displeased with the service at 1-800-Flowers.com as well as the quality of the flowers. In the past six months I have ordered at least six arrangements and each experience was worse and...

Pros: Easy to order, arrived on time Cons: Easy to take your money and give you wrong/damaged items
It all started in November 1999. My mom sent me a beautiful arrangement through TeleFlora. I was entranced with the Christmassy smell of pine and peppery bright red carnations. That arrangement made my day, and many days thereafter!
I...

Pros: very reliable, nice support, wide selection Cons: EXPENSIVE!
So yes, I was wondering if this online floral/present service would be good enough to deliver something to my mother on her birthday when I ordered it two days beforehand. I sincerely doubted it could happen, but ..low and behold, 1-800-FLOWERS came...

Pros: Price and Service Cons: I didn't uncover any
About six months ago my best friend's mother died unexpectedly. I was unable to be there to help or offer any personal comfort at all. I felt terrible that the miles between us were so many, at such a horrible time in my friend's life. I went on-line and...

Pros: None Cons: Everything
I wanted a simple delivery completed for Valentine's which I ordered a week in advance. It did not arrive the 14th and I wasn't told why (customer service is clueless). On the morning of the 15th, I was told the flowers would be delivered that morning...

Pros: Dissatisfied customers get results (if you complain hard enough) Cons: You sometimes don't get what you see
I've purchased a bouquet over the internet through 1-800-Flowers twice now, and both times the bouquets that my friends received did not look like what was in the picture!
After my first email complaint, Customer service replied that it was...

Pros: Uses local florists to deliver same-day orders Cons: Cannot give a timely confirmation of delivery; Horrible customer service response time
I used to be a big supporter of 1-800-Flowers.com because they actually use live florists vs. FedEx which allows you to place last minute/same day orders.
However, for Mother's Day this year I placed a single order with 4 separate deliveries...

Pros: Very Prompt Cons: Expensive
LAst week, I ordered flowers for my girlfriend. I used 1-800-flowers's website. I will admit, I do live far from my girlfriend and tehy were delivered to her dorm the next day. BUt the fact is, it costs me 30 dollars just to order a small bouquet, and...

Pros: Excellent Quality, Service, and Value Cons: None
Procrastination is nothing new to me, but ordering flowers over the Internet was. I waited dangerously close to my mother's birthday and asked 1-800-flowers to bail me out.
I ordered a dozen roses just a few days from the necessary delivery date....

Pros: Easy to use, nice selection Cons: None that I can think of
I began using 1-800-FLOWERS back in the mid-1980s, when I wanted to send my parents flowers cross-country for their 50th anniversary and their home-town florist had just closed. The CSR described the bouquets to me and I chose one, based on her powers...

Pros: prices seemed great Cons: flowers not fresh at all
Recently, I thought that I would give this company try. I needed to order flowers for a family friend that was hospitalized. I usually used local florists, but thought I would give 1 800 a try and see how their prices and quality compared. I was very...

Pros: easy to remember phone number Cons: dead flowers
I was thrilled when I recieved flowers, however upon my opening of the box they came in I was disappointed. They were wilted roses and there was hardly any greens or baby's breath and if there was, it was brown. The flowers lasted all of about two days...

Pros: prompt delivery, Cons: slightly high prices
I have heard and seen complaints about the 1-800-Flowers service, but I have used them 4 times now and have been pleased with every single one.
I did not do my orders by phone, did it by online ordering so perhaps that makes a difference? I...

Pros: Helpful Customer Service Cons: Not sure if flowers actually will arrive
I decided to send my husband some flowers as a surprise and I ordered them at 7:00 a.m. on the 1-800-flowers web site. The web site confirmed that my delivery would arrive at his work that day. I was suppose to receive a confirmation email, confirming...
