My E-Pinions
I'd like to believe that my epinions are a little different.
First, I like to have really good titles. Titles say a lot.
Next, I like to mix savy & practical, and a good does of humor. But I like to think I know what I know. I mean, I have a lot of media garbage in my head, and my friends find it amusing when it poors out in the form of a rant.
I don't have time to write as much as I would like to. So forgive that my volume of 'pinions are low... for now.
Twisted and Eclectic
My interests in media, editorialism, computers, media, fantasy, media, etc... makes for a strange mix, I'm sure. But I like to see my writing as legit' even through the 'funny.
I think that combining all of these things will make for some good reads.
Style
If I was "there", I like to point it out. I don't need anyone to think I'm cool... I'm merely trying to find a way that people might see where I'm coming from. No one wants to read and opinion about scuba-diving equipment from someone who can't swim. I've been very lucky to get to meet people and the beginning of their careers, and have been "into" things before they broke bigtime. I want people to also empathize and conscider my opinions their invitation into these things, that may be new to them.
Why so many 5 star reviews!@?#%$#@
OK, I admit that I am looking for things that I LIKE first. Most times I'm trying to memorialize influences in my media-saturated life. Once I get through what I like, I'll start mowing through the clunkers.
1 Star = It must truly be horrible.
2 Stars = A dissapointment
3 Stars = less of a dissapointment.
4 Stars = Great! But not "Russel Crowe" great.
5 Stars = True greatness. Even if it has tiny flaws, it's influence must be profound.
