This year I will be celebrating the 37th year of my birth, the 15th year of my marriage and my 14th year of being a parent. All of these aspects of my life have offered up their own unique set of challenges, of which I approach with optimism and enthusiasm.
We live in Davison, MI. in a beautiful rural area, and although this 1927 farmhouse needs tons of work, I love it! Tim (My fabulous husband) and I enjoy doing much of the remodeling work ourselves. I enjoy gardening, gourmet cuisine & interior designing. I am a nut when it comes to collecting vintage clothing and kitchenware... I've also been recently bitten by the Disney Pin bug.
I have a small business that I started just over a year ago; Color Me Paisley - Homemade Bath & Body Collection. For the last 5 years I have been office manager for a real estate office. (I've been on medical leave since July '99)
I was stricken with Guillain-Barre' Syndrome in July '99. It is an auto-immune disorder in which the immune system attacks the central nervous system. I can't say that this ordeal has been an entirely negative experience, as it has encouraged me to enhance my perspective on life and realize what is truly important.
