What can I say ?
Started taking pictures at tender age of 7. Black and White then, as my father used to earn his studies that way. Been a photographer ever since, mostly portraits and travel photography. Had my first computer a C64 at school and my second one an Atari 1040 at university. Used to program both. Now I build my own computers (all Windows) and spend quite a bit of time tinkering with them, as well as with the digital picture and movie editing. I sell products into Handheld devices around the world, so naturally have to stay on top of anything that has a display that you can carry in one hand...
I came across epinions when looking for advice on a car radio (it wasn't there, nor anywhere else on the net, so I decided to publish my first review). I think epinions is the ultimate powerhouse of consumer knowledge. My wife bought an oven based on a single recommendation on epinions of a Japanese lady that bought it, and she is ultra happy with it. I don't think this is a great way of making money, despite being a top 500 reviewer, calculating all hours, McDonalds pays more per hour, and you don't need a degree for it. But I think this site shifts the power to the consumer, and I want to help shifting the power...
