I am an avid consumer rights advocate and am impressed with the way sites such as Epinions is set up...giving information to the consumer about a product before it is purchased.
I am a working mother of one 3 year old little boy, and wife of an electrician. I work for a health care company as a software tech and enjoy my job. While I am not directly responsible for patient care, what I do impacts them on a daily basis -hopefully for the better!
I enjoy reading fiction, but have turned to reading biographies and other works in an effort to better understand my world. I think learning is an ongoing process that never ends and think the best compliment I can give or receive is that learning took place.
It goes without saying that I am a technology buff, but in the paradoxical irony that is woman, I am also a "granola mom". I believe in parenting, from pregnancy on, should be a natural thing, with as little outside intervention and technology as possible. I realize that not all situations call for a natural approach, if my child needed an appendectomy, I wouldn't give him a lemon-lime soda to sip and wait for the pain to end. But for the most part, little intervention is actually necessary. I fully believe in quantity time versus quality time when it comes to parenting.
I hope to write my reviews with as little bias as possible, but it is certain that life experiences will color them slightly. I look forward to learning from you.
