My husband and I recently moved back to Iowa after living several years near Denver, Colorado. We purchased an old convent (1926) and are in the process of restoring/converting it as our private residence. Most of our time is spent either planning and working on the house, or planning and working on a garden landscape for the yard. (Or saving money to work on the house!)
We welcomed our first child, Christoffer, to our home in May 2002, and welcomed our second baby, Alexander, on March 17, 2004. Many of our big consumer purchases revolve either around home improvement, kids' stuff, or our hobbies.
Besides parenting, home improvement and gardening, I enjoy sewing & quilting, baking, drawing & painting, design work, singing, computers, playing piano and my new guitar.
