The past two years have seen multiple eye-surgeries and forced down time. My right eye is back to about 80% but the distored images make extended reading difficult. I am eternally grateful, however, as reduced vision is a blessing where there was none.
I have sailed the world for duty and pleasure. The view from a cruise ship's rail is more expansive that that from a submarine's periscope.
Our Epinions environment is enchanting. Through your writings I experience the world more fully. Thanks for sharing.

I hope that I continually mature as a contributor here at Epinions. Many of my earliest postings were quite feeble. Even though we can EDIT or DELETE our older reviews, I choose not to. I leave all my postings active to remind me how easy it is to write poorly.
While I have opinions on just about everything, work and the vision thing severely limit my posting. I still try to follow Epinions on BOOKS, MOVIES, and TRAVEL. It has been some time since I added to the below links and am unlikely to be able to do so in the not-too-distant future.
