I know Cleatis

I have some tips on choosing soccer cleats. I have played for 12 years and I have been through many pairs of cleats and I have come across a few that belong in the dumpster. The best pair of shows that are out there right now are the puma kings molded. You can't find a better leather than the kind they use. They have a special kind called pittard that is awesome at shaping to your feet and resisting water. These shoes lasted me for two season. Lasting two seasons with me is something that is almost impossible. Play in all conditions and at anytime buts a boot through the craziest conditions. What you have to look for in a boot is find out if the leather will stretch or contract to your foot. If it contracts you of course should get it a half size to large , but if it expands get it a little tight. A boot should be tight so you can feel the ball and manuever it well. I would recommend getting a molded cleat until you have played for many years and can handle screw in cleats. Screw-ins will hurt you foot if you dont have rough enough feet. You almost want to build up callouses. Make sure that when you get a boot you can fit a sock with them or you will be an idiot with a super tight cleat and bulging laces. I would recommend not buying from a walmart, kmart or anyother store that doesnt specialize in soccer shoes. Dont pay more than 50 for your first pair and no less than 20 unless they are used or on sale. Try using Eurosport magazine for finding a good shoe. All the shoes they carry are quality brands.
