Details: Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, founded in 1882, is the seventh oldest zoo in the United States. Occupying 165 wooded acres, it is also one of the largest urban zoos. The Zoo, owned and operated by Cleveland Metroparks, is home to thousands of animals representing more than 400 species, fifty of which are on the Endangered Species list.
