Pros: Close to home Cons: Insufficient child care, aging equipment
Since I joined this club, I have had nothing but headaches! A major consideration for me was the availability of childcare and I was assured there was plenty. Imagine my surprise when I found that I had been lied to (by the District Manager, no less)...

Pros: Equipment, Classes, Open 24 hours Cons: Price, Crowded
If you go at a time that is not that busy you may be in heaven. If you go between 5-7 oh man have fun. The after work rush is insane in this place. There are people everywhere and the machines are mostly taken. I hope you are not chlostroophopic....

Pros: 24hr availability Cons: THE STAFF
I went to join 24 hr fitness and it was the absolute worst experience I have ever had anywhere. I figured I would be in and out 10-15min most. Sign a few papers and be done with it. No! They had to take me in to the back office room and play with...

Pros: Only gym in this area open 24 hours Cons: They only want beautiful, already thin members.
I'm writing this review after having tried unsuccessfully to join 24 Hour Fitness. I went in without any preconceptions other than them being expensive, but my experience certainly seems to confirm negative reviews below because even the gym staff ...

Pros: relatively inexpensive Cons: cleanliness
I Joined 24 hour about 2 years ago, at a time where the principle facility in Omaha was being built and the temporary quarters were marginal at best. All the firm's money was sunk into the premier location being built and nothing was spent on the upkeep...

Pros: open 24 hours, lots of weights Cons: under qualified trainers, expensive
Getting a membership at 24 Hour Fitness was one of the longest and most boring tasks I have ever fortaken. The so called "trainer" that gave me a tour had absolutely no idea what he was talking about, and obviously had never lifted a weight in...

Pros: Large amount of equipment. Televisions for entertainment while you work out. Cons: Sales people who aren't working in your best interest.
The Broomfield, CO location is nice enough. Is clean and the people are friendly.
My issue with this club is that the sales people don't bother to tell you that there are deals on the web site. 24 hour fitness has sales people on commission...

Pros: Lots of locations Cons: Rude staff, strict rules about everything, and not enough water fountains.
I joined 24 Hr. Fitness because of the many locations near my house. It was a mistake. I will not renew my membership, that is for sure. The fees were nuts! I mean, the facilities and equipment were nice and well-kept, but the staff makes the...

Pros: Close to home Cons: Calls never returned, difficult to schedule, steal your money!
I had been buying personal training sessions for over a year in blocks of 20 sessions and was pleased with my trainer. However, when the trainer left 24-Hour Fitness, the manager said he had not submitted his payment form for me (check was cashed...

Pros: Acceptable group clases and good facilities Cons: Can't cancel easily Crowded Expensive trainers Aggresive-selling-tactics
I joined 24 hours fitness on January 2009, and by May, I decided I wanted to cancel my membership... well... you can't do it online, you can't do it at the gym, so you have to do it on the phone, for which you have to call between business hours (pacific ...

Pros: Nice people. Lots of machines. Big pool. Cons: Lots of people. Complicated machines, at first. Lots of chlorine in pool -- LOL
You can lose 30lbs without a gym -- I got my brother to lose 180 lbs in just over a year -- he stopped eating McDonald's 2 times a day, started eating smaller portions of meals, stopped snacking on sugar, and walked 1 mile a day! Before that, he ...

Pros: Decent clubs. Cons: Not honest. Corporate policy to ignore and stonewall complaints.
It's been about three years, but I'll never forget. I worked out at the Hollywood, CA 24 Hour Fitness. I had my lock cut in the locker room and lost my wallet, expensive watch, IPod, cash, car keys, etc. Because I had my ID in my wallet and ...

Pros: Clean, great equipment, well lit, good variety of classes, nationwide access Cons: High pressure sales staff, can get crowded at peak times
I recently joined 24 Hour Fitness in Portland, OR, at the Mall 205 location. The club is fantastic! It is clean, well lit, has plenty of equipment, basketball court, pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room & pro shop. There is plenty of parking, even at peak ...
