Pros: 117 trails, 2,200 vertical feet, tons of snow, Vermont!
Cons: Pricey tickets, series of 3 chairlifts needed to reach the summit.

Pros: Friendly staff and lots of runs
Cons: A bit expensive for the quality of snow we are getting

Okemo...Not worth your time

Pros: grooming, low-intermediate terrain
Cons: crowds, no challenge, small, southern exposure, snow quality
My recent trip to Okemo was the first time i had ever visited the central Vermont resort. I also expect it to be my last. This mountain disappointed me in just about every aspect.

Okemo is where I first learned to ski and it was a fine place to learn. I've skied numerous places on the east coast and really liked Okemo better over the others I've skied. It's quite a nice resort with good skiing.
