Pros: Takes you virtually anywhere in New York City for $1.50. Cons: Crosstown options aren't as plentiful as down/uptown options, at least within Manhattan.
For those who may be recent arrivals in NYC, as well as for tourists, I am going to do my best to unravel the mysteries of the NYC subway lines so that you will be less apt to get lost, and so you will also be able to reach your destination more quickly....
