I will NEVER eat there again. A very large bug was in my salad. When I complained to the Manager he said the produce sometimes comes in with bugs, and it is "beyond their control". That is just gross and negligent. What the Manager was saying then is that they do not check (or wash obviously) the products that they buy, and that they knew of this problem in the past, and did nothing about it. How is that sanitary? That I should report them to the Board of Health. I tried to take a picture of it with my camera phone, but the Manager quickly took the plate away. Unfortunately, I discovered this after I nearly finish the salad. Even though the Manager said that we did not have to pay for it, that was not good enough. It is not about the money. It is dirty and disgusting.

I have never loved a restaurant more. My family and I go here the most and get treated like royalty every time. We had one problem with takeout that wasn't even that bad. They forgot my son's milkshake and my son flipped out because we promised it to him for being a good boy that day. We called and told them that they forgot to give us and if we come pick it up and they sad yes. When we got there they appoligized for there mistake and gave us a gift certificate all forgetting a milkshake.

This place cares about there customers, and there food is great. They know have a weight watchers point section in there menu. UMMMM!!!

Cons: dinnertime is very crowded with long wait for seating

I really like Applebee's but for dinner it is very crowded and noisy and most often a long wait to be seated - BUT - lunchtime is less busy and much quieter. I can't resist their riblets - melt in your mouth tender and wonderful sauce, comes with fries but i always substitute their great onion rings. The service is very good and portions are generous. Have had dinner specials and steaks and all have been very good. They have yummy desserts if you have room.

Cons: Cold Mashed potatoes

I am a regular diner at our local Applebees in Meridian, ID. The last two times that I had a dinner with garlic mashed potatoes, the potatoes were cold. In addition to this, the potatoes were not fluffy but had a weird texture as tho they had come out of a container and served with a paddle. I had loved these potatoes before, they were hot and fluffy. Please Applebees! Don't underestimate the importance of the taters!

Simply awful food.

Tasteless, horrid looking, dreadful presentation. Obviously microwaved, frozen dinners.

Really gross.

The service (this was at the Applebees in Fredonia, NY), was awful too. Even though the place was half-filled, we waited forever to get started and our waitress disappeared immediately after delivering each course.

Never again. That place was nasty.

Pros: Applebee's is a great restaurant both in quality and in taste, as well as service.
Cons: Sometimes I tend to eat too much and there's just so many desserts afterward.

When you first enter any Applebee's establishment, you are overwhelmed with all the decorations and items seen throughout the restaurant. This makes for a very good first impression. The atmosphere is great, the restaurant is filled with many others enjoying their time as much as yourself. When you are seated you receive fairly quick service as well as helpful servers. The food in my experience has been outstanding. I can't go in and not order my favorite item, boneless buffalo wings which is amazing both in taste and appearance. The wings are served with celery sticks as well as a dish of either bleu cheese or ranch dressing. The cost of meals at Applebee's are very reasonable which is one of the most important factors which makes me return.

Pros: Variety, clean, friendly, reliable, fresh, fun.
Cons: Pricey

We have been here a thousand times. It is my husband's favorite place to eat. We have had consistently good food, always hot, always fresh, always good. The wait staff is always friendly, attentive, and clean! The bathrooms are always clean, the tables are always clean. We have never had a bad experience at Applebees. The food can get a little pricey for a family of four. But if your going to splurge, and have a nice night out, with good food, good atmosphere, and clean dining,,this is the place to be. And what a great menu!!

Cons: Car Side to go could use some organization.

I recently used the car side to go. It was on a Saturday evening following a college football game. I arrived on time for my pick up. Myself and seven other drivers sat in our cars for at least 6 minutes before someone came out to acknowledge we were there. At the end of 15 minutes, my order arrived. However, I needed change and sat for another six minutes then got out of my car and went inside to get my change.
When I arrived home, I tried to call to speak to the manager. I attempted to phone three times and it rang about 15 times and no one answered.
The food was cold and I was extremely unhappy about the experience.
We've eaten in at this restaurant many times and always had good service and food.

Pros: They are all over
Cons: Food poisoning. If you ever had it enough said.

Resently visited the Applebee's at St. Joseph, MO. had a bacon cheeseburger and spinach dip, woke up in the middle of the night with food poisoning, so much for a nice easter. Hard too sit in church with Applebee's finest running out both ends. Later to find out my uncle and aunt had similar problems with an Applebee's in their area.  Make me puke once shame on you make me puke twice, well thats just bad dip. Never see me our probaly any of my family in one again

I used to work at the mall, and through the whole day, never got to eat anything good until I found Applebee's. I love Applebee's. It has very good and delicious food. It also not expensive and you can even order it on the phone and just pick it up. It's great.

Pros: the weight watchers menu is very good and coloring mats to keep the kids busy
Cons: sometimes it is crowded and it time to get seated

the menu at applebees is diverse and delicious and the weight watchers menu is a plus so anyone on a diet can eat at applebee's
