A Sitcom In Game Form

by harley4u , Jul 01 '09
Pros: Incredibly funny. Human opponents. Polished to a mirror shine.
Cons: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Lost sleep. Hate-filled rages at opponents.
This is my first First Person Shooter. Let's start with saying that even if you're BAD at FPSes (I am), you'll be having far too much fun with Team Fortress 2 to CARE. To put it shortly, Team Fortress 2 is PURE AWESOMENESS. It was awesome when ...

Medic!!

by vacuumgarden , May 12 '08
Pros: Team Fortress 2 is one of the greatest online multiplayer FPSs on the market today.
Cons: Be prepared for late nights and severe sleep deprivation at work.
The original Team Fortress emerged in 1996 as a mod for the game Quake, and was a cult favourite in fledgeling online gaming circles. A couple of years later, a version of the game known as Team Fortress Classic was created using the original Half-Life ...

Excellent online multiplayer FPS game with great animation

by mark_ufl , Mar 02 '08
Pros: Excellent graphics, gameplay, and character options
Cons: Few stock maps included
While I never played the original Team Fortress before playing this, I found this to be a great online multiplayer FPS with excellent attention to detail in terms of graphics, gameplay, and entertainment. Game modes There are two main game ...

TF2: One of the best multiplayer experiences you'll ever have.

by mjhhiv , Jul 22 '08
Pros: - Interesting visuals - 9 great classes to play with -
Cons: - Lack of maps and game modes -
We’ve waited a good, long time for Team Fortress 2. Since then, many other class based multiplayer games have taken center stage, like Call of Duty 4, the Battlefield series, and most other war shooters. So, is the original idea still the best after all ...

A game with no story game play? Only multiplayer?

by jimbobsmith24 , Jan 08 '08
Pros: Awesome multiplayer. Great graphics and fast paced.
Cons: No story plot. High system requirements and a label of Mature only or M.
This game is a first person shooter. This game is included in the orange box for fifty dollars, it comes with a few other games - all of which I believe to be great games. This game has Pixar animation and an Mature rating kind of a funny combination ...

A-we-some!

by dirkiee , Oct 19 '08
Pros:

Unique graphics, Fun(ny) gameplay, never gets boring, excellent player community, multi-class fun.

Cons:

Game has to be downloaded first.
Some people might dislike the un-seriousness.

This game is the best I've ever played. Fast-paced team vs team action, 9 unique classes to choose from, Very unique graphics. The game makes a very un-serious impression. Cartoon-like graphics and a seemingly endless stream of insults and taunts ...

Was it worth the wait? Team Fortress 2, you better believe it!

by nidobanddo , Oct 22 '07
Pros: Endless fun, easy to learn, get it!
Cons: High system requirements, neglect work, school and girlfriend.
Yes you read that correctly, Team Fortress 2 is out. It took nearly 10 years to produce the sequel to that epic game for Half-Life, but it has arrived. So what where they doing? Did they simply fritter away a decade? Not even close. Team Fortress 2, a ...

Different, and it works

by brodieboy255 , Jul 10 '08
Pros: different, fun, encourages teamwork, continuous developer support.
Cons: game play can get repetitive
After much anticipation, Team Fortress 2 was released to the surprise of many. Several years and numerous face lifts after the original Team Fortress, Valve's new shooter has been worth the wait. The aim of the game here is balance. There are 9 ...

Team Fortress 2

by shamsiownz , Jun 30 '08
Pros: Excellent game balance, likable characters, fresh new experience
Cons: cartoony graphics can be a turn off, excessive dependability on teamwork
I am reviewing the PC game Team Fortress 2 Before team fortress 2, it was really hard to imagine animation-graphics and insane ruthless battles side by side.Well that's what team fortress essentially is.It may seem really odd,but after you feast ...

Great Game
by rekhyt ,Jan 15 '09
Pros: Graphics are unique, nine classes, better strategic element, starting videos
Cons: Engineers (somewhat unfair, since they basically sit and let turrets gain them points)
Upon purchasing this game, you immediately notice the amount of work which was put into attempting to teach new people how to play the game. Although its not exactly a full tutorial (as in, it assumes you've played another FPS before), before playing in any map, it will show a small video as to how to accomplish the objective. Although there are many more features to the game, this is the feature which will probably catch your attention first. Being able to choice between 9 classes in a shooter game was new to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed testing out each class.
