Pros: Ultralight, easy to use, convenient, excellent safety features Cons: Hood gets dirty when folded, no sunshade, limited storage, lousy customer service
My baby is taller and weighs more than a normal 6-month old and moving her in her carseat in a snap-and-go carrier was getting harder as she got older. The Maclaren Volo is a lifesaver (not to mention my back and arms!). It's lightweight, even easy to ...
Pros: Small, lightweight, affordable. Cons: Too big for average 6month old baby, hood gets dingy
Guilty of stroller envy As a new mom, I eyed all the different strollers that were out in the market, and I had mad stroller envy when I would see anyone walking by with a Maclaren. I have a small car (see my other review on the ...
Pros: lightweight, great for travel, fun colors, rides well, nice upgrades Cons: a little expensive for what it is, a splurge
I purchased the Volo (in orange) as a lightweight stroller for travel. My son was 4 1/2 when we purchased it. Our regular stroller was a Peg Perego Pliko and I was looking for something a little easier to travel with now that my son was older. I ...
Pros: great for fat and tall babies, superlight, tall parent must have Cons: small storage area, no window in the sunshade
My 1 year old daughter was 32lbs and 33" tall. We had definately outgrown her Graco travel system stroller and I was looking for an umbrella stroller that could handle our robust baby, plus I wanted something lighter. Another huge factor was I am 5'7" ...
Pros: Quality tires, Lightweight (8lbs), 5 point harness, extra long handles Cons: Terrible buckle, no sun shade, no fabric on seat, no basket, difficult to fold, etc.
We received this as a gift but would never have bought it on our own. Here's a list of the pros & cons with this stroller that I have noticed running it around the house & trying to put my baby in it. Pros: Quality small tires Lightweight (only ...
Pros: light, easy to push, great turning radius Cons: expensive
I’d suffered through over a year of our horrible Evenflo stroller. The design was so poor that there was very little I liked about it, even though it was used every few weeks at most. Determined to find something better, I quickly came across ...
Pros: Light but very capable Cons: No shade from sun.
We inherited a jogging stroller and a big Combi stroller. While the Combi was relatively light, it wasn't an umbrella stroller and was only practical when our son was in his infant carrier. The jogging stroller is great for long walks, but it isn't ...
Pros: Small, extremely lightweight. Easy to clean, five-point harness. Cons: Becomes a bit costly to add accessories - like sun shade.
Two kids, five car seats and four strollers later, we have finally figured out what works. We own a Maclaren Techno and Maclaren Volo. I will not review the Techno, because the version we have is no longer available (ours is the 2001 model). A ...
Pros: Lightweight, easy to carry, maneuver, fold. Mesh seat, shoulder strap. Cons: price, no included sun shade
4/24/09 updateJust wanted to let people know that this stroller is STILL in service. It's currently carting my 3 year old newphew around. It still looks and performs like new. You'd never know it was a 6 year old stroller. ...
Pros: Lightweight, Easy to Use, Sturdy, Basket Cons: A bit Pricey.
When my daughter turned 2, we started looking for a new stroller. We had the Graco Sterling LiteRider Stroller, but we wanted to get a smaller, umbrella type stroller. We tried out some of the cheaper umbrella strollers and were really unhappy with...
Now that my daughter is getting older, her stroller needs are changing. At times she is more than willing to ride in a stroller, other times she rather just walk. I was finding that taking her stroller into and out of the car becoming more and more of...
Pros: light, easy to wrangle, handsome, nice handles, good size Cons: slippery seat, suspension
We bought this stroller before embarking on a trip east to visit parents, friends, etc. It's really a very handy gadget: easy to travel width, easy to fold up and fold out. We looked at the Combi travel-stroller and it just didn't seem as sturdy; nor was...
THE BEST Stroller for 12 months - 3 years by tucsonmom4 ,Jul 21 '08
Pros: Lightweight, well built, great storage, great for travel, very compact Cons: pricey, but you can get it on Craigs List
I have purcahsed four strollers, and this by far is the best. At eight lbs it is light, agile and built like Fort Knox. My husband is a engineer and he loves it as well (which is saying alot!)
Pros: Easy to open/close, high handles more comfortable to push, smooth ride, easy to clean Cons: No cup holder or tray for baby, and small storage basket...and price
Fabulous light weight stroller that folds up with one foot/hand. It even has a strap to carry it on your shoulder when folded. The mesh seat is comfortable and airy on hot days. It also gives you the option of buying a baby store cushion insert if need be, although it hasn't been necessary for us. I had the typical cheap umbrella strollers, and they are a waste of money because they are so uncomfortable to push. The Maclaren is expensive, but the handles are up higher and cushions, plus it feels very smooth.
Pros: Super lightweight, stylish, incredibly easy. Cons: No accessories and doesn't recline for your little sleeper.
My life is definatley easier because of this stroller. This stroller is extremely easy to fold and unfold, which is great when one of your hands is holding on to say.... a child.
On top of all of it's greatness, it is also incredibly easy to steer with one hand. Really, with one hand I can easily go up and down curbs and turn. I got stuck in DC at the top of a broken escalator with my baby son. I folded with one hand, put it over my shoulder and walked down the steps with no drama and no problem!
It's light, easy, and has great handles for taller people or those with wrist issues.
Buy with confidence. It's a winner!
