Pros: Fast, powerful, and very high capacity in all areas. Cons: Pricey, heavy.
I recently upgraded from the HP N800w to the nw8000 and have been very pleased with all the improvements. Now sporting the new Pentium 4-M Centrino processor its even faster than its predecessor. In addition, with the three (3) spindle capacity, this system is extremely versatile. The deficiency in expandability that the n800w had has been fixed in this model with the addition of a second PCMCIA slot, a Firewire port, and internal Bluetooth. The design of this system is very similar to the n800w, but the case is slightly thicker due to the 3rd spindle. Other nice additions are the wide-angle view LCD screen and the integrated DVD-RW drive.
