FinePix E510 not expecting too much. Of course, the camera has a 5.2-Megapixel CCD, 2-inch LCD screen, optical zooming viewfinder, wide-angle optics, pop-up flash and manual controls. The list is ...
Pros: Many pixels for your buck, easy to use, takes short films Cons: Doesn't reduce red eye well, a little expensive with the additional chip, long reload time
My husband is a gadget fanatic but has the common sense to ask me before he buys anything new. I like gadgets but always like to research them before I invest in them. So when he started bugging me about a digital camera, I got to work. I've loved my ...
Pros: three color settings, megapixels (for the price), large lcd Cons: maybe too many bells and whistles?, smallish on button
My mom gave me some cash to buy a new digital camera for Christmas, and I went with the Fuji Finepix E510. I had previously owned the Fuji Finepix 2650. I loved the 2650 but the LCD eventually broke (either from dropping it too many times or from taking ...
Pros: Macro zoom, Cost, Battery life Cons: Images, Images, Images
No matter what I tried I could not get this camera to take a quality photograph. There was always something wrong with the pictures. The only pictures that turned out (most of the time) were ones taken in the most perfect sunny clear days with no ...
Pros: Flexibility and great control over picture taking. Quite compact, durable and reliable. Cons: The mode switch moves too easily. On/Off button is too near the shutter button.
I must have been one of the first to own the Fujifilm E510. From the beginning I have just loved it. It offers an amazing range of shooting options, from rank amateur to advanced (non-professional) snapshooters...like me. The main reason that I ...
I Love My Fuji FinePix e510 Camera! by marquita188 ,May 21 '05
Pros: 5.2mp, 2 inch LCD, viewfinder, 2 AA batteries, Movie recording, xD-Picture media card
Cons: movie mode quality not good, batteries run out fast, click shutter button hard.
I love this Camera! I got it from Newegg.com for 209.99 4.99 S/H. Newegg.com has fast shipping as I counted on! it's got a lot of features. like a big 2'in LCD screen, auto mode, zoom in, movie mode, 5.2MP, Real-image optical viewfinder(approx. 80% Coverage) some camera don't even have a viewfinder, Etc. I really don't use the software it came with, I just use the Brother's 5480cn photo capture driver. I had some problems with this camera at first kept on clicking the shutter button, I found out that I wasn't clicking it hard enough:) the movie mode quality isn't very good. (320x240 94 Sec., 160x120 288 Sec.) another downside is that this camera eat up a lot of batteries and I had to replace them four times already!
Poor auto Focus- Common in E series by asankabandara ,Dec 03 '05
Pros: True natural colour Cons: Terrible Auto focusing
This camera is a economical one and is value for money. it will give you natual colours and very effective in outdoor shooting. Desing is a little older type and nt stylish. Bad for indoor and auto focus system is terrible. Auto focus will never never never works in indoor or when the light condtion deteorate.
Manual focusing system is also little complicated but can be achieved with some effort. Lots of sounds and bells etc.
In all a value for maoney camera if you know operate with little skill.
Great If You Want Grainy Pictures by ordinaryjane ,Nov 13 '05
Pros: Macro feature works well outside. Cons: What's on the screen isn't what you get in a print.
Like other reviewers, I thought I'd done my homework too. Don't buy this camera. Long lag between photos, terrible picture quality, and eats through batteries.
Pros: large display Cons: poor auto focus. terrible picture quality
I thought that I had done my homework on digital cameras when I chose the E 510 last Fall. From day one it has been disappointing. The picture card was always creating faults in the camera.( I bought the 128mb card extra) The crisp, clear photos that I have seen from other point and shoot digital cameras simply weren't there. I would try every single setting on one subject and none would be correct. Either they were grainy or out of focus, even when using the self timer and a tripod.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAMERA!
Looks better than do really are! by eparma ,Dec 26 '05
Pros: Look, 2" LCD, manual controls Cons: Poor auto focus, poor " non perfect sunny day " pictures, very log recovery time!
Look like a top of line product, but don't really are. The pictures quality are only average ,and falling to bad side, for one 5.2 MP digicam. The auto focus work's well only in the perfect sunny days, an is terrible (worse than the Fuji A-205) in night shots. This camera disappoint me so much. Average pictures of my old Fuji A-205 is better. A couple of months ago I bought one Canon digicam, and find another world in terms of quality. The Fuji need to walk a long road to find the Canon way!!
Very Impressed With This Camera by shazm60 ,Jan 29 '05
Pros: - Great picture qualities (clear pictures)
- Easy to use
- Has great features Cons: - Video recording isn't as good as taking still pictures
I have recently bought this camera and so far i think it's the best digital camera i have purchased so far. The quality is amazing (5.2m pixels)and there are many features that can be used in this camera such as, self-timer and video recording with sound (the quality on that is fine as long as you use it where there is light).
Compared to my previous cameras, i think it's the best one i have and for now i have found the right camera so i am not going to have to keep searching for a new one.
I bought this camera because i have read many reviews about it and most of them were very positive comments.
Overall, a great camera and really worth getting. I am very satisfied with this camera.
Pros: Quality pictures. Easy to use. Cons: Quality of zoomed pictures. Battery life.
This is my first digital camera and I have read the manual about 20 times. I got to know the camera well. I found that the best shots in the dark were on the action mode. I find the pictures sharp. Portraits have a soft tone to them but are still clear. Pictures do not come out great on the zoom. Pretty bad actually.
Disposable battery life is about 2 days taking many pictures. Change batteries quickly because when it says it is getting low on the battery, they will die in a snap.
I have yet to open the rechargeable battery package I bought.
I like having my options on the top of the camera instead of in the camera as an option. I think it is quicker to change settings having it right there.
I like the trim feature alot. I like the way I can record a message to a picture.
Great camera for a great price!!!!!! by parque ,Dec 14 '05
Pros: Quality photos, easy to use, small and lightweight, large lcd screen, video with audio Cons: battery consumption, long flash recharge
I bought this camera to replace my Fuji Finepix S3000 and have not been disappointed! It's very light and easy to use and gives quality pictures. The best feature by far is the video with audio! I can take quick clips of my little ones and have the sound too, which was lacking in my s3000. I find this camera very easy to use. You can use it completely auto or you can set individual settings for the more advanced user. It's very quick to upload pictures to your pc with the supplied USB cable and the Finepix software that's provided is very easy to use and organizes pictures by date so you can easily sort through and find the pics you have uploaded. Overall I am very pleased with my camera!
Decent Camera with good specs by lil81angel ,Nov 28 '04
Pros: Good price 5.2 mpx w/ both zooms. More than pure point and shoot. Cons: Bad LCD screen lighting.
Good point and shoot camera as well as specs to practice some picture taking qualities. Have to remember to turn on flash, or dim lighted pictures are blurry. What's annoying is the LCD panel doesn't correct for lighting... so if you're in a dark room taking a picture... you don't see much on the LCD screen.
Pros: 5 mega pixels at low price Cons: Blurry , unfocused pictures!
I am very unhappy with this camera. I have had two other Fuji Fine Pix cameras and was very pleased, but this one does not match up. I have tried different settings but most of the pictures still come out unfocused. If anyone in the picture moves it is blurred.
This Fuji Finepix digital camera has a 5.2MP sensor that captures enough detail to give you quality 13x17 enlargements. Get great close-ups with a 3.2...More at Target
