Pros: Sleek Design, Screen, Overall Package Cons: Some smaller internet sites might have a problem with your MAC browser IE or Safari.
I purchased this machine for my wife two years ago to go on her desk in the kitchen. The overall design, PC compatibility and pleasing looks made it the perfect choice. The machine is well designed and comes with a nice package of software(iLife Suite, ...

The PERFECT Machine
by -macgirl- ,Jan 28 '04
Pros: Space saving design,
5 USB ports,
easy to use programs,
LCD Flat Display(1/2" thick) Cons: As if...
Those other reviewers must not know how to use their system because this machine is as flawless as the design. Did I mention the fact that I never have to worry about a virus or worm again??? Okay, maybe once every eight years or so... This system has everything you need for a home computer and if you need more power think about a tower (hey, that rhymes;o) Everything is easy to use and couldn't be more straight forward. I am soooooooooo FREAKIN' happy I didn't buy myself a crash n' burn PC -even the best on the market can't compare to Apple's stability, reliability and ease of use. Not to mention that fact that the design is gorgeous! Who wants a big ugly system that takes up wayyyyyyy to much room??? Don't even need an ugly than !#@$ computer desk for this one, it'll fit just about anywhere!
**Highly recommend purchasing the 3 year warranty! Tech calls can run you $50. a pop after regular warranty runs out... must say, I've used the tech number more than 5 times & it has paid for itself. Also, replaced my mouse (next day delivery) no questions asked!

I've forgotten what "ctrl alt delete" means, switching to an iMac about a month ago from a PC. The OS X system hasn't frozen up or done anything weird. The iMac is a very easy computer to use. The materials used to build this machine appear to be high quality throughout. The most common coment about it is, "that's a computer?", because of the radical design. This iMac will also talk to you and take voice commands. Once you use a Mac you won't go back.

Mac's Not Freezing Is a Fiction
by greentara7 ,Jan 21 '04
Pros: It looks cool. Cons: Freezing, crashing, hard to view.
One of Mac's big claim to fame is no freezing,no crashing--my iMac does both all the time. When my iMac freezes there is a little colored spinning ball, I have spent more time looking at this spinning ball than I care to recount. As far as crashing goes, within days of the time it came out of the box I experienced my first "this program has unexpectedly quit," which is a complete crash of the program, causing a loss of all unsaved data. Also, the so-called seamless integration between Mac and Windows does not exist. Documents produced in one do not carry over all of the characteristics (I'm sure this is not the technical term but I don't know how else to describe it). Finally, the monitor on this 15" model is horrible, very fuzzy. Viewing photos is a nightmare, they look terrible and it's hard to see everything.
