Pros: Tough, cool looking and a great little workhorse
Cons: There are speedier iBooks out there (but they dont look as cool!)

Its tough and perfect for collge, which is what I bought it for. I have mine running OS X (Jaguar) and it runs fine. Its taken a lickin' and kept on tickin'!

I have a desktop G4 for my heavy duty stuff (I am a graphic designer) but in a pinch I used this iBook to do some work in Quark and Photoshop on vacation and it did great! (Not much fun laying out an 11 x 17 newsletter on a 12" LCD screen though). I wouldnt recommend it for that type of work however. Its great for internet and word processing though. I bought it used almost two years ago and its still serving me well!

I mostly run Office, Safari and Entourage on it--its connected to broadband internet through its ethernet card. I've also made use of its AV output capabilities to do presentations with it in class.

I owned a bluberry ibook, i found its performance excellent.Although graphic capability could have been a little better.There was no video out port. but those were my only concerns. i found that the battery actually delivered a 6 hour charge. although i bought mine 4 $600! i bought mine in november of 2001, i bought it at sears. although it was refurbished. i eventually took it back due to compatibilty problems with my printer, but dont worry i was quickly back wit a new mac! i bought the new ibook, 600 megahertz, witha dvd/cdrw combo drive. but thats another story. But if u can find an ibook, wether it be the stylish biueberry, tangerine, key lime, or red, get it, now adays they have newer software to fix that compatibility problem, so i overall rate this poduct a 4and a half.

Pros: different look, variety of colours, and it is way better than getting a PC!
Cons: A little overpriced, wierd look, and you can only get it online.

I think the design is cool, but it looks a little wierd, the screen is also pretty small. I don't have one yet but I think I am going to get one. The only thing is, is that I don't know where I can get one and I would probably want to try it first.
