Pros: Good cast Cons: None
This was a really good flick and I'm a guy. I don't necessarily pay to see chick flicks but In Her Shoes had one interesting element: Curtis Hanson. Hanson helmed 8 Mile. L.A. Confidential and The Hand That Rocks The Cradle. So to see In Her Shoes, I ...

"In Her Shoes" is a movie that is possibly the most annoying film I've had to review in a long time. I write this because the movie starts abysmally, has a middle that made me think "I'm glad I stuck it out," then progresses into "saw that coming, saw ...

Pros: Great acting, interesting story Cons: Length made it feel a little rushed
When I saw the trailer for "In Her Shoes" I thought, this is going to be boring. I'm not the one for chick flicks or sweet lil sistery movies...I'm kind of a robot when it comes to sappy movies. But I've gotta say, I almost cried at this movie and that ...

Pros: Collette. Diaz. McClaine. Mark Feuerstein. Not a chick flick! A sister flick! Cons: Slow in the beginning. No resolution for one particularly wicked character.
The tagline says it all. Friends. Competitors. Sisters. Anyone who has a sister (I have two) can tell you that it doesn't get any closer to the truth that that! We begin our journey with two different views of two very different sisters. One is a ...

Pros: Perfectly shows siblings at their best/worst. Casting is superb, funny, and natural with each other Cons: none
In Her Shoes is a witty chick flick that highlights sibling rivalry at it's best. It should appeal to the male audience for it's countless shots of Cameron Diaz in little bitty pieces of clothing. Not to mention a great story which perfectly depicts the ...

Pros: Wonderful Characters and a plot that slowly makes more and more sense. Cons: You may be overwhelmed by estrogen if you go to a theatre to see it.
The world is full of people that seem pretty much normal people who have issues that are deeper than surface level, and which may not present themselves until you have gotten to know them in a much deeper way. It’s possible to not even uncover these ...

Pros: Acting, Humor, story line, flow. Cons: Tear-jerker at times, music could have been better.
"In Her Shoes" was a heart-felt, sweet, lovely movie. Toni Collette was excellent of course, as well as strong and more than perfect for the part. Cameron Diaz' character was an adorable mess, and Cameron did an excellent job. I have never seen ...

Pros: A good mixture of comedy and drama. A perfect mom-daughter movie. Cons: None!
I walked into In Her Shoes expecting a girly movie: funny quips about men, food, love, friendship, family, and of course, shoes. That's exactly what I got. But for the first time, it wasn't a bad thing. In fact, In Her Shoes was the ...

Pros: Good acting and good storyline Cons: Some people may find it a little slow in some parts
Before I actually watched this film I'd not noticed any trailers for it nor could even remember it being in the cinemas! However, I saw it on the shops dvd racks and thought it looked like my kind of film - I like both the main characters that were ...

Slow ... but with a good ending,
by ilovepigs55 ,Jan 03 '07
Pros: Great cast, and had a good moral towards the end. Cons: Slow, Slow! I thought that it would take forever just to get this to start.
If you like a movie with a good feel good ending , this would be the movie for you. But, BEWARE!, the beginning of the movie is just slightly more interesting than watching paint dry.
I spent the first part of the movie hoping that the movie would end because it seemed to take forever to get to the point. I guess I missed the action factor in that. But then the action turned and the old folks got in there, and they were a riot. You have to love the elderly for saving the day. I am definitely happy that I did not go to the movies to see this one.

CUTE!!
by saurelia ,Oct 07 '05
Pros: Stirs up Romance, Comedy & Anger all in one. Cons: The blind man's doctor/grandson - (you expect more from that).
Great movie... I'd definitely classify as a chick flick - since there are a few female 'jokes' in there - and a great analogy around shoes! Cameron Diaz is not one of my favorites, but this was one of her best... Strongly recommended for a girls night out "feel good" movie.

Pros: Actors, Plot, everything Cons: None
I was at my friends house and saw this movie still in wrapping (thats a habit of me and her.. buy movies never watch them) anyways so I snatched it for a good movie to watch on a day off (which is never in my career) anyways... I didnt expect much out of Diaz... however.
I found myself smiling through a lot of it. A very good love story/ comedy.
Overall just a awesome movie. Good acting, great actors for the parts... strong plot. Very interesting plot.
Great movie, definately fit for a lonely evening off from work... great take-out and a 200$ bill from your local store worth of junk food.
