Moulin Rouge is a great movie. It shows many things. It reminds us all that love is so important in life. All you really do need is love. This movie is a real tear-jerker. Amazing music and lyrics. Also, great script. These actors/actresses are amazingly entertaining, and it shows that they are very well experienced. This is just an amazing movie. Watch it, please.

I absolutely adored this movie. I was in awe every single minute. The music, voices, and camera angles along with costumes, sets, characters, and scripts were amazing. Nicole Kidman pulled off her character well, as the tear jerking ending that brought me to sobs. Ewan McGregor was brilliant in this roll. This is by far my favorite character I have seen him in. All in all, I recommend this movie to everyone. The songs were my favorite of everything. As soon as I finished the movie I went out and bought the CD.

Pros: McGregor and Kidman play fantactically together!
Cons: Not everyone is going to like it...

Satine, A can-can dancer at the Moulin Rouge falls for the temporary Duke, Christain. As they fall in love they are threatened to come apart. The Duke has bought Satine and forbids her to even set eye on Christain. After a while, Satine is getting sicker and sicker and the only one to care for her is Christain.

This movie will make you laugh, make you think, make you cry, and make you believe. 'All you need is love'.

Pros: awesome set and costume desings.
Cons: plot is given away in the first two minutes of the film.

This is a really great movie! I love most any Ba Lurman film, as well s movies with good costume and set design. This movie s absolute eye-candy. The music is also excellent, I would recomend any one to see it once at least.

Moulin Rouge is the best movie I have ever seen in my life! It's colorful, wild, beautiful. It's a touching love story. Bazz Luhrman mixes hip-hip, comedy and drama into one great show! This movie will dazzle you and change your way of thinking about musicals forever!

I was never really interested in seeing the movie, until I heard Come What May (a song that I wanted for my wedding). I rented the movie, just to see what it was all about. I fell in love! I immediately made my mother and sister watch it, and they too fell in love. It is a great story of eternal love, amidst all the trials and tribulations. A must see for music-lovers and for die-hard romantics!

Pros: Nichole Kidman is absolutely gorgeous.
Cons: Everything else.

But, the truth is that it's soporific and confusing. I was so hoping that Nichole would make the movie incredible. In actuality, her beauty was the only redeeming quality of this movie. I kept stopping the video and coming back later, hoping that it got better...sorry to say that it never did.
