Pros: Great, thoughtful, well-made horror movie Cons: I liked the black and white film, will you?
I had only seen parts of the original "Night Of The Living Dead" in the first 15 years after its release, so when it finally (in 1984) showed at midnight in one of only two theatres in our town, I went to see it. What a shock when...

It is truly a masterpiece of genuis's at work.

Pros: Genuine chills and suspense Cons: Low low budget
Eight years after Psycho and ten years before Halloween came this horror movie that serves as the lone highlight between the releases of Psycho and Halloween. It also has a lot of the same elements as the other two -- genuine terror without gore, high...

Pros: scary, creepy, well-made. Cons: may be too old for some.
Romero spent a tiny budget, filmed it on weekends, and never expected much out of NotLD. What he got was one of the greatest horrors ever.
Remind you of anything? If you said Blair Witch you are thinking like me, but Living Dead is many...

Pros: The absolute terror that their is no hope for survival (rare for today's society). Cons: No matter how hard you try, be prepared to be sickened and weary of the outside world afterwards.
George Romero created THE final great monster movie of all time, and in addition, told it in a way no one could forget.
Night of the Living Dead (1968) is the story of seven ordinary people whose summer is destroyed when from out of nowhere, people...

Pros: Classic in the horror genre, full of suspense, death, and zombies of course. Cons: Not for those of you who can't appreciate what the art of film is.
To put it simply, a classic! This masterpiece has survived the ages with it's popularity still intact. What happens when 7 strangers are picked to be stuck in a farm house, in the middle of no where, and stop being polite, while fighting off flesh...

Pros: classic cult film that is a must for any horror lover Cons: does not pack the same punch it did when it was released but still great
Sure, Night of the Living Dead may not be scary in comparison to today's horror movies, but it has something that alot of today's horror movies don't have; suspense. The story is simple. A meteor shower flies over the Earth. And as you would expect,...

What can I say? Night of the Living Dead (NLD) is just in a class of its own when it comes to horror films. I first saw this film when I was about 12. It’s actually a funny story of how I got it. I was at a neighbor’s garage sale and they were...

Pros: Great cult classic. Cons: Unbelievible
Night of the Living Dead is a cult classic, that much just about everyone knows. It's a semi commical look at what would happen if the dead started walking again. As for a fear factor, if you're 7 years old and watching this movie, then it's scary. If...

Pros: Classic Cons: none that i can remember
I don't know if this is the best of the series but it's a classic in itself. I saw this movie when growing up and its emotional scars are still present. This one happens to be, personally, one of the best movies of all time. Id hope that everyone today...
