Pros: Nice songs about female empowerment; one of the most fun-filled records of the '90s Cons: TLC were never the best singers/rappers; parts of the album haven't aged well
Baggy clothing; bright-colored videos; condoms sticking out of pants pockets, including one worn over someones eye: all this by a trio of girls barely out of their teens. Remembering that CD my dad brought back from one of his oversees travels, with ...
Pros: Lyrically, it's their best record ever. Funky, upbeat, and fun. Cons: Too much of Left-Eye's rapping; a little immature in spots.
The Main Idea: During the technicolor dreamcoat that was the hip-hop scene of the early 90's, an Atlanta-based trio called TLC released their groundbreaking debut, Ooooooohhh...On The TLC Tip. This album was impressive because it showed th ...
Pros: a diffrent kind of music never seen before and never repeated much Cons: none really
TLC's debut album, "Ooooooohhh...On The TLC Tip" provides many funky head-bopping dance tunes, while, at the same time, providing messages, such as "You don't need him", "Wear what you want, life isn't a fashon show or to attract...
Pros: Creative, definately for those who like expressive music that comes from the female point of view Cons: not for those who can not handle TLC's awsome Style!
Hey 'yall! As an avid fan of TLC, this CD is as priceless of a posession of mine as their newest album, Fanmail. This Album, although from 1992 is a great example of TLC's fine work. This CD is unlike Crazy Sexy Cool because of it's rugged nature and...
Pros: Fun, great messages Cons: somewhat out dated
We all know the three girls of TLC by now. Few people have heard this first album by them, however. After their smash hit "CrazySexyCool" I decided to check this one out. I'd have to say it is every bit as good as the second cd. It has that fun...

Ooooooohhh... Thats A Poppin Album by mrprofounds1 ,Feb 22 '06
Pros: You hear everybody on every song very versitile best group album! Cons: Track 14 I wasent really feeing that much.
I think that this album speaks for itself and an excellent for a first for TLC. This just shows the power of a group of three completely different women from three different back rounds can come together and show the industry whos running things. This album is a perfect example of a group album because you hear everybody on every song they all sound very nice together and their not afraid to take risks. Left Eye and T-Boz did most of the album but you also heard Ms. Chilli a lot. Another thing that makes this a classic album maybe even better than CrazySexyCool, is because if you take all of Left Eye contributions to the other three albums and put them together you would still hear more of her on this first album. So I can see why she felt the way she did and wanted to persue a solo career.
