Half a block from Union Square

Pros: Location, friendly staff, clean, lots of freebies!
Cons: No view in room.
I surprised my wife with a weekend getaway to San Francisco to see Mamma Mia and go shopping. The concierge at my workplace arranged the whole weekend for me and it was perfect!

One of the better affordable Union Sq. hotels

Pros: Good location, Nice and cozy rooms, Small details shown, evening wine reception, free breakfast
Cons: The shower is a bit too harsh, no air conditioning for the one hot day!
Although we only stayed at the Inn at Union Square for 2 days, it was much much better than our stay at another hotel just a few doors down, the Andrews Hotel, which we stayed in for 3 days. Everyone in the lobby was great with directions and helpful...
