Those were the first words that came to mind as I stood in the crowded lobby waiting to check in. Passing through the revolving doors into a large, open lobby the registration desk already had a long line queued up.

Being my first trip to Paris I did not know what to expect.
Looking at the Glossy brochure put out by Qantas and the five star rating I was expecting more than I got.
Pros: Close to town.
Trolley comes to the door.
Accepts small dogs.
Very clean Cons: Small bathrooms.

We stayed at the Park Vista in Gatlinburg Tn. in Dec. 2004. It was forecast to snow and without 4 wheel drive we decided not to stay in a Chalet. The trolley in Gatlinburg comes to the hotel and takes you into town for 25 cents. The rooms are clean and look exactly like the website photos. The bathrooms are small and so is the balcony but for the convenience it was a perfect place to stay. They also accept small dogs and have grassy areas overlooking the mountains where you can walk. The hotel has an amazing pool area that is glassed in on 3 sides, heated water and the pool is 3 levels. Warmest place in the hotel with the steam rising off the water and heating elements placed around the room to sit under. Once it snowed all the shops closed in town. Thankfully the Park Vista has an on site restaurant and the staff was snowed in with us so we were able to eat dinner. This is a great place to stay.
