Pros: Entertaining, Repetitive, Educational
Cons: none
If you have kids, but have not yet had the pleasure of watching Blue's Clue's, you MUST flip on Nickelodeon at 9:30 AM. Watch it, tape it...whatever, but do it! This is one of the best shows on children's TV these days. In fact, it is a very unique...

Favorite Cartoon

by mray , Apr 24 '00
Pros: educational, cute songs
Cons: repeats
My 2year old discovered Blue's Clues about 6 months ago and he still loves Blue. Even though Blue's Clues is geared more for 3-5 year olds, Tanner loves it. At first he would go araound the house opening and closing his hands saying Blue's Clues (they...

A Future Classic

by SnugBug , Mar 21 '01
Pros: Repeats same episode all week (it's how children learn!) Educational, cute.
Cons: Sometimes the bright colors interfere with one another.
If you are picky about what your children watch, than I think Blue's Clues is for you. To be honest, most kids shows grate my nerves.

Well, you don't have to worry about that with the wonderfully educational show Blue's Clues. The show has...

This is one of the best kids shows on TV today. I am a mature adult having 4 grown children but I love to watch this show when I am babysitting for my nieces and nephew.

The minute the delightful little tune alerts the kids to the fact that...

Pros: makes learning fun
Cons: not enough new ones
My son and I first started watching this show when he was about 2 years old, and my first thought was, "What a great idea for preschoolers!"

Pros: Engaging host; bright colors are ideal for babies and toddlers
Cons: None
I'm categorizing Blue's Clues as "best suited for 12 to 36 months," but I highly recommend the show for babies as well. Here's why.

Time for Mommy's Break

by twila , Mar 04 '01
Pros: Very educational and entertaining. My 15 month old is glued to the screen!
Cons: They seem to show the same episode several times a week.
Since my baby was 9 months old, he perked up whenever the Blue's Clues theme song played. A little later, at the sound of the first notes he started dancing. Now, he is glued to the TV for thirty minutes every morning.

I know many parents...

As a first grade teacher, I am always on the lookout for television shows that are actually educational, as opposed to either mindless garbage or shows that throw random information at kids and expect them to absorb it in 28 minutes. Having seen (and...
