US Acoustics USX-4085 Car Amp

Pros: Quite affordable, clean sound, solid build
Cons: None come to mind, except perhaps the styling

Pros: Excellent power, little distortion, low price, looks good.
Cons: No midrange xover or balanced inputs, cant brag to friends about how expensive it was.

Having blown my second ESX amplifier, which this amp easily set me back $400 new, I'm proud to say that the US Acoustics USX-4085 is a cleaner sounding amp. And at $189 (at Crutchfield, nonetheless!) it can't be beat.
