Pros: feature rich, low cost, reliable service, instant signup Cons: seems too good to be true -- still looking for a problem
When I first saw a banner advertisement for nomonthlyfees.com, I thought, surely, that the service was a scam or that there would be all kinds of hidden fees buried in the small print.
I was curious about the service, so I checked the site...
Pros: There really are none anymore. After about 8 years, I've finally moved out. Cons: Poor Service, Poor Attitudes, Prices no longer competitive.
Up until this week I was a customer of nomonthlyfees.com for at least 8 years. In the beginning, I was happy with their prices and their services, but over the years I began to change my opinion of them. Their customer support is terrible, there are ...
Pros: Price(?), Features Cons: Support has gone to hell
I've been with nomonthlyfees for over two years now and at first they seemed to be a real bargain. I purchased two of their 200mb accounts at $200 a pop and in the few times I had to contact their support department during those two years, I always...
Pros: Great Service, Great Price Cons: $200 up front cost
Of all the webhosters I've used, no one comes close to the service that NoMonthlyFees.com provides. And the price is even better. I would recommend this service to my grandmother.
With webhosters, generally you pay $25/mo for 100MB of space...
Pros: Large amount of disk space Cons: Offensive technical support, price changes without notice...
When I first signed up with NoMonthlyFees in June of 1999 I was amazed. The price, the features, and the support, all outstanding. I even went as far to host 3 other web sites there, but things quickly went downhill after that.
Pros: nothing much to write about Cons: poor support with bad attitude, shady terms and conditions, slow sever response, bad server security
UPDATE: April 2007 Finally, I got rid of my nomonthlyfees account and moved to another hosting company. The last straw was when all my content was lost to a hacker. Nomonthly fees did take a backup *after* all the sites got hacked - and they only had ...
Pros: One time fee and an annual fee which includes a domain name. Cons: Service has gone bad. Poor and defensive at best.
I wrote a decent review of No Monthly Fees and recommended trying them out. I was one of their first customers, and I will say that even though the tech support was always shaky at best, the cost was cheap enough for the non-webmaster wanting to build...
Pros: Relatively low cost. Cons: Poor customer support, unprofessional (childish) communications, migrations to new servers create problems for customers.
I have been a reseller with NoMonthlyFees.com since 5/24/01, and was hosting 4 domains with them. Like many others, at first I was willing to accept the occasional performance or availability problems, the difficulty of dealing with support via e-mail...
Pros: low cost, stable, feature rich Cons: serious reliability issues, major support issues
This review has been updated October 2005! General I have been using NoMonthlyFees webservers between 1999 and 2005. I initially registered a webserver with NoMonthlyFees so that I would have a site for beta testing websites that I ...
Pros: Cheap. Unlimited POP's. Feature Rich. Cons: You get what you pay for!
Once upon a time.... They were great. Now however, they are one of the worst I have ever hosted with. Their tech support is appalling. Constant interruption of service.
It seems they got too big and are not bothered about the level of service we...
I actually didn't really choose them in the first place. I initially signed up with a company which I think turned out to be a reseller. When this company went under I somehow ended up with nomonthlyfees.com without any explanation provided. I had to ask ...
Pros: excellent offer, many tools available, full 10-day trial option Cons: shady transaction (in my case)
This isn't a full review since I haven't been a customer of NoMonthlyFees.com for long enough to write one. But, based on my experience with them, I thought it would be prudent to get the word out about this company, that deals with them...
Pros: started with US$200 for 200MB with US$35 for renewal Cons: Yearly fee increased. Took away domain parking with "wwww." in front
They started off well a couple of years ago. The service is getting from bad to worst. The prices keep increasing by getting you to paid for something that you don't need..
Imagine they raise the price for continuing with them from US$ 35 to...
