Pros: Excellent in all respects. Cons: Rear seat comfortable, but tight for adults. The Bottom Line: Excellent, just perfect. I do not need a crew cab or tow heavy trailers.
This is my third Toyota truck and I have had it for 8,000 miles with no problems nor did I have difficulties with previous Toyotas.
I am delighted with this truck. I test drove other trucks prior to this purchase and this was the best by...

Pros: Quality, Exhaust/Engine Sound, Quit Comfortable Ride, Visors, Power, Classy Cons: Lacks: road sensitive radio, auto-headlamps, message center, leather steering wheel and outofreach dash controls The Bottom Line: Toyota Tundras are superb(must have)! Chevy/GMC have craftsmanship issues but they have nice options. Ford's have a school bus like ride and Dodge Rams Quality could be better.
I traded my 2000 Chevy Silverado Ext Cab 3dr for my 2002 Tundra Limited 4dr. with the TRD Package and Leather. I am overwhelmingly pleased with this truck and sometimes wonder if it’s not actually a Lexus in disguise. I am the very picky type who has...

Pros: Great off the line & at top speeds, handles well, no rattles like other 3. Cons: Poor location for clock, no interior gas door opener. The Bottom Line: Get this if you want a truck that will last a LONG time. Toyota reputation along with thier ingenuity surpasses the Big 3 time & time again!
I love my Tundra! This is my first truck & it took me a year to research between the other MFG before deciding on the Tundra. The handling is excellent espressially after adding the Hellwig Anti-Sway bar in the rear!
Prior to the Tundra, I...

Pros: Excellent build quality, good power, comfortable for full size truck Cons: transmission "clunk"...no black interior option, NO problems to date (5,500 miles) The Bottom Line: I would absolutely get another Tundra. I am looking forward to a remodel / upgrade of the Tundra in 2004 for my next vehicle.
I own a 2002 Toyota tundra 4X4 and love it. I've had many cars in the past ,but fell in love with trucks when I bought a Tacoma in 2000. Unfortunately the Tacoma had a small 4 cylinder and was a little underpowered for me.
Hence, my Tundra...

Pros: High Dependability, Great Warranty backing by Manufacturer, good MPG, and great looks. Cons: Thin paint, some cheap fixtures, uncomfortable bench seat. The Bottom Line: I recommend buying any Toyota vehicle as I've had many that have exceeded 220K plus trouble-free miles.
This is a great, and reliable truck, and I could highly recommend it to anyone. Mine still runs, and drives great, has 164K on it, and with no mechanical problems besides the recall repair on the balljoints as a precautionary measure. However there are ...

Pros: Well made, comfortable ride, enough power with V6 Cons: Watch that air bag. Not real easy on gas. The Bottom Line: Don't trust the air bags. Always wear your seat belt.
Two reasons I bought this truck. #1 safety, #2 it is built in Indiana by UAW workers. Buy American, ...

Pros: Legendary Toyota dependability Cons: No torque The Bottom Line: Id take a Ford of Chevy over a Tundra.
Ive owned 2 Toyotas. They both were 4Runners. One was an '85 with over 200,000 miles and the other was a '91 with over 100,000 miles. I loved both of these vehicles. They rode nice and were as dependable as the sunrise.
However they were not...

Pros: Smooth Quiet Ride Cons: minor this and that
I have a 2002 Toyota Tundra V8 SR5 V8 4WD Access Cab truck. I traded my Lexus RX 300 for this truck and I thought that the ride was just about the same. My husband uses it on the weekends to pull his drag car to the track, he says that he cant even tell its behind him it pulls with such ease. I think this is the truck for women I haul maulch dirt ect. In the day than a quick wash and were out for a evening of fun. I thought that I would never own a truck because of the rough ride and noisey interior but this Tundra changed my mind and I cant imagine being without it.

Pros: Well-made, smooth car-like ride, very little cheap plastic, quiet, and very comfortable. Cons: This truck seems to go through a set of front brakes about once a year.
I purchased my 2002 Tundra brand new on 4/10/02. I opted for the V6 model. It's got plenty of power and I can tow a trailer with a large quad on it with no problems.
I love my Tundra. It's been an all-around great truck, easy to drive and stylish.
At this time I have 71K miles on the clock with no serious issues other than replacing the front brakes about once a year. This is a well-known problem on the earlier Tundras. Although I have the upgraded brakes, they still wear out quickly.
Overall, I would recommend the Tundra to anyone. When compared to the domestics, it's a no-brainer.

Pros: Strong. Nice stereo. Carry 1200 lbs with no problem. Cons: Wish the back seats were more comfortable.
I've brought the truck in 2002 and had about 40,000 miles in it now. Works great, only had to change the brake pads.
My truck is the Tundra SR5 extra cab w/ TRD package and alarm and towing, and i would have brought the double cab if it was avaliable.
Dealing with car salemans takes about 4 hours walking back and forth to the manager to okay it or not. Kinda stupid.
Paid $24500 with tax already included (my driveout price)
I hate dealing with toyota dealers when dealing b/c they gave me the run around asking for $25500 1st and a week later call me back and okayed the $24500 as my driveout price with tax included.
