Pros: Highly recommended. Cons: Due to it's design, driver's power seat does not raise up in front.
I bought this used in May 2006 with 54000 miles on it, and have not have one issue with it. I came out of a Buick with the 3800 V6, so I was a little concerned about going into a 4 cyl. However, the transmission is very responsive, and other than the whine that is typical of all 4 cylinders, it accelerates nicely. I am a volunteer medic, and typically use my car to respond to calls. Therefore, I push it to it's limits at times, and have been very happy with it's handling (of course, I put Yokohomas on it, which makes a huge difference).

Pros: Excellent on gas, comfortable for four adults and is maintenance free Cons: Can`t think of even one!
I purchased my 2000 Toyota Camry Camry CE in March 2002 with 39000 Miles on the odometer. I now have 120 k showing. The only maintenance I have done is brakes pads front, regular oil changes, tires ( no front end adjustments required after 120k) and the major maintenance scheduled timing belt & water pump, serpentine belt at 100K. this car is the best, I plan on trading to a new one in the future , however this car works so good and is so reliable that I just can`t seem to get in to the Toyota showroom. Maybe I`m cheap or as the old saying goes if ``its not broke leave it alone``!! it still looks like new when I shine her up, body is excellent, I guess I will keep her!

Pros: Solid feel, smooth ride, good handling, roomy interior, excellent reliability. Cons: Paint is blistering on front bumper.
Being the patriotic sort, I've always sought to give my business to our "Big Three" automakers. All too often, I have been left with a bad taste in my mouth, a sour feeling in my stomach and pains in my wallet. Enter the 2000 Toyota Camry. I purchased it used, just off of a corporate lease, with 50K miles. Similarly equipped/condition/priced domestic models at the time of my search included the Taurus, Impala and Concorde. No comparison! It starts and runs very smoothly. The ride and handling are very good. The exterior noise from wind and road conditions is minimal. There is a solid, but not bulky feel to the car. The power drivers seat, tilt steering wheel and very visible instrument panel make driving it a pleasure. A couple of cars ago, I owned an '87 Accord and drove it for 200K (for the most part) trouble free miles. I followed it up with a couple of domestics, which were disappointing at best. Get me once, shame on you. Get me twice, shame on me. No more shame with this guy!

Pros: OK car Cons: Bad design on engine. Watch out for engine sludge!!!
To all of you Camry owners with the 4 cylinder engines. Have your motor checked for sludge often. Have it cleaned for sludge as well. My parents have one and the motor oil light has gone on out of the blue. Thankfully the shut the motor down before too much damage. There are several complaints on Consumer Reports. Toyota will not help with this issue.
