A couple years ago my friend and I are just barely graduated from high school and looking for a little something to drive. I ended up getting a '90 Mustang GT about mid summer of '06 and late summer of '06 my friend gets a 2000 Kia Sephia (we call it ...

Pros: Good price, great warranty Cons: Road noise, cheap parts, bad acceleration for passing The Bottom Line: Can't beat it for the price. Future of Kia is unsure since their fiscal year showed a loss. Hyundai had to dip into the action more than they anticipated.
You're old clunker is ready to kick the bucket. So you find yourself swallowed up in a pool of new cars, and can't decide where your money will treat you best. There are a slue of new cars in the 9,000 - 14,000 price range that come pretty well equipped....

I was thrilled with my father buying a new car. The old 92 Mitsubishi was beginning to come apart at the seams. I was a bit disturbed when he got the new car at only 25 dollars a month more than his old car he had bought used. Anyway on to the car. ...

Pros: Nice styling, options not found on other cars are standard on the Sephia Cons: Low resale value (expected) The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car to anyone trying to save a few dollars while still buying new versus used. If maintained and treated well, it will do just fine.
When starting the search for a new car, I knew I would be looking at the compact car market. I star ...

Pros: Dealer service Cons: Resale value (Buy it used!)
In mid-October I discovered my poor old Toyota was facing some repair dollars that I didn't want to spend. I drive at least 40 K per year (mostly "highway") and need a vehicle that will "get me there".
My choices were a Kia...

Pros: great gas mileage, spacious Cons: Low seats
I just bought my very first new car, a 2000 KIA Sephia. I told the salesguy that I wanted a basic car with no extras. All I cared about was that it had enough room to fit my 3 girls (ages 7, 3 and 2 months) comfortably in the back seat, it should...

Too much to List!!! My car was in the Shop (21) days in it's first 2 months. The First time we filled the Car with Gas, it only took $3. Gas poured out the Side of the Car, because the Vapor Recovery System was Broken. The Dealership didn't even register...

Pros: Affordable, gerth of warranty Cons: Quality issues, service is difficult to obtain, looks bad without a spoiler. The Bottom Line: If you don't have the money to buy a domestic, give the Sephia a good look.
I've been looking at, and test driving numberous Kia Sephia's ever since they landed on Canadian soil just over a year ago. I was really tempted to buy one, but I came to my senses.

Pros: low-cost, good gas mileage Cons: steering wheel shakes
The Kia Sephia is a very inexpensive car. I was surprised when I found out that the Sephia has 125 horsepower, but when you are going around 75 mph the steering wheel shakes and so does the change. The Sephia's brakes went very quick, but it was...
