Pros: Great 2-door coupe Cons: Acceleration slow at high speeds.
Handling on the Integra GS-R is quick with acceleration excellent in the lower gears. Unfortunately things begin to peak out in moving from 90-125, but this is a minor quibble. With the rear-spoiler standard in GS-R, handling is great at high speeds, and...

Pros: Fast, great handling, gas-mileage, alot of aftermarket parts, reliable, and cheap Cons: noisey cruiser, lack of efficient soundproofing, everyone has one, AC is weak The Bottom Line: It's fast, its good on gas and it looks good. Add a alarm and off you go. A little noisey but that is a easy fix.
This car simpl put is a gem when it comes to front-wheel drive, sport compact performance.
It's quick (7 sec 0-60 stock), has great handling, fits alot of cargo, and is Honda Civic cheap at the pump.
THe masses should already know...

Pros: Afforable price; simple styling; fun to drive Cons: Not the most practical car
My Perspective
As you continue to read, bear in mind that my model is a 1997 2-door LS hatchback. Also, I often hear ergonomic disputes between people of different sizes and so for reference purposes, remember the following when I tell you...

Pros: Deceptively fast, great handling and brakes, reliability Cons: Styling to some? Not sure it's such a terrific value
I tell you, there is not a single product from Honda/Acura that is not worth of at least some kind of praise. It's real easy to be a loyalist to this manufacturer, and the Integra Coupe is certainly another reason to add yourself to the fan club. ...

Pros: Sportiness and reliability. Cons: Overall interior room.
The Acura Integra could be described as a Poor Man's Porsche. It has decent power, handling, and comfort at a reasonable price. I originally purchased my Integra because of the support that has been shown for the car by the aftermarket. If you look,...

Pros: A Very dependable, fast, nimble, & great gas mileage car. Cons: none
I had leased a 1997 Acura Integra GS-R Coupe in the Fall of 1996.
I had always been a fanatic of the 4 cyl. sports cars and after about 4 months of researching and test driving many sports cars, I finally decided on the Acura model. At the time,...

Pros: Fun to drive, reasonably priced Cons: Average engine, acceleration
I have a 1997 Integra LS. It's a fun car to drive with the sunroof open and music bumpin', but if you plan on going anywhere with hills, its a little tough. The inline-4 engine doesn't really have that kick to it I was looking for. I recommend going...

Pros: good reliability, good engine Cons: seating can be cramped for taller people
I own a 1997 Acura Integra LS and so far so good. The main reason I bought this car was for its undisputed reliability and good reviews (both from various car magazines and personal opinions from friends). The handling of the car is above average and the...

Pros: cute, easy driving, low maintenance Cons: small for long trips
What a great little car. This is the second car in our family and I usually am the driver. This is fine with me as I picked out this car. It fits me much better than most cars (I am under 5 feet tall) and I can see over the steering wheel without leaning...

Pros: Great handling, very fun to drive, yet still as functional as most cars it's size. Cons: Big rear, sometimes have to look around the side to see where I'm backing up. The Bottom Line: Enjoy it while you're young.
1997 Integra GS. I've owned it for over a year now with about 175 000 km on it today. The last 40 000 were driven by me so you can do the math and figure out how much I love driving it. The only problems I've had with this car were that one of my seat ...

Pros: Fun, affordable Cons: Small back seats
Before I bought my 97 Acura Integra LS 3 door, I owned a '85 rabbit. I didn't know what power and performance were until I got into my brand new blue integra. I didn't shop around, I knew the car I wanted. I had thought about the trendy Honda Civic,...

Pros: Trunk Space, Gas Efficient, Reliable Cons: Price of tires for 15" wheels, back seat space The Bottom Line: A good car for the current value. I have not had any trouble with the car and Acura has a good reputation for building reliable cars.
I have owned my 97 Acura Integra for just about a year. I am the second or third owner and it currently has about 81,000 miles on it. It is an automatic, two door with leather interior, aluminum wheels and a four cylinder motor. The car has been ...

Looks.
Gas mileage (in spite of the power curve)
Reliability Cons: Road noise.
Lack of power seat.
storage.
No Cup holder in the back seat The Bottom Line: Great little daily driver that also affords tons of fun on the highway and side-streets. A GREAT buy even after many years of usage.
A hot little car, it will not make you want to buy another one for commuting. I have made multiple 1500 mile trips in it and never felt uncomfortable. Great sleeper - Does not look loud and yet is fast enough to blow the doors off poseur racers. It's ...

Pros: Nimble handling, very reliable, great gas mileage, built by Honda. Cons: Loved by car thiefs The Bottom Line: If you can find a well maintained 97 GS-R for a decent price, than I would strongly recommend this vehicle for a high dose of the "fun factor" and reliability.
I leased my 97 GS-R from brand new. I run a business and prvious to this car, I leased a new car every 3 or 4 years. Being a bit of a car fanatic, I have always taken pride in maintaining my vehicles very well. Well, the time came to trade this car in,...
