Pros: Cheap Price, Cheap on Insurance, Great First Vehicle, *Interior Space*, and did I mention, FUN!! Cons: A/C never worked, Gas tank rusted through, cheap rear bumper The Bottom Line: Fun, dependable, economical and the biggest interior space of any S10. I had tons of fun as a teenager with this truck and you will too!
What can I say? I loved this little truck. I paid $1900 cash for it in 1998, drove it for a year, and sold it for $3500.
Let me first point out that the only reason I sold this truck is because I had another vehicle I liked a little...

Pros: Drive train reliability, Practicality, Comfort, Price, Looks. Cons: Gas mileage, Fit and Finish, Ride, Some design flaws. The Bottom Line: I would recommend this truck. I have found it to be a reliable and practical vehicle.
I purchased my 1994 S10 Blazer 4x4 in the Spring of 1999 with 84,000 Km (about 50,000 miles) on it. I purchased it to pull my 16 foot Fiberglass runabout equipped with a 70 HP engine, which it did with ease. I have since sold the boat but I intend to...

Overall, I first must say that this is a pretty good little truck. I like almost everything about it, except for the power. If you want to find out about this one deficit as well as its good points, please read on.
I'm going to begin with...

Pros: solid motor, good value Cons: constantly replacing parts, watch the rust, digital dash The Bottom Line: A good buy based on value
This past spring I started the task of replacing my wife's aging car. I was in the market to spend around $6,000, so I figured a mid-90's GM family sedan would be what I was looking at. The more I looked, the more I realized I could get a Blazer 4x4...

Pros: dependable and economical on gas Cons: does not drive well on wet roads.
We bought our S-10 new in 1994 after doing a little research. I had always wanted a pick-up and since we had a small family this was an appropriate size for us. Another factor in our buying decision was a GREAT deal - we bought the truck new for six...

Pros: Comfortable and Spacious Cons: Easily Rust
I currently own a 1994 Chevy and I love it. It has 77K on it and it is fully loaded from the leather seats to the roof rack. This is a great vehicle for a working person with kids or someone who just loves to travel. It's seats are extremely comfortable...

Pros: It'll outlast it's owner Cons: None
Chevy trucks are the longest lasting vehicles on the road! I purchased my 1994 chevy S-10 new in 94, and it's still tearing up the roads. Equiped with a 4.3 vortec I can hang with anything that pulls up next to me. I bought this vehicle because...

Pros: price Cons: spare placement
I own a 99 2-door Blazer. I have had nothing but good experiences with it. The dealers are very courteous when something goes wrong with it and help very much. The only problem that I do have with it is that the spare tire takes up a lot of room...

Pros: power, great towing ability, small size, low maintenance costs Cons: sqeeky rear gate, getting old and out of date The Bottom Line: I recommend this vehicle if your looking for an inexpensive, reliable, and powerful SUV.
Sometimes it's hard to believe that I have been driving the same thing day after day for close to 7 years. After all that time with the same vehicle, and it's still sitting in my garage as I write, I think I have a pretty good opinion of it and hope I co ...

Pros: reliable, inexpensive, simple, easy to maneuver Cons: thirsty v-6, small cab spaced, wiper problem, difficult winter driving The Bottom Line: A good truck for the occasional towing or hauling, and reliable enough for the daily driver
It's a good reliable truck that can still perform when hauling a heavy load. Even when loaded with about 600 to 700 pounds of cargo, acceleration and driving up hills were no problem. Unfortunately the fuel efficient image of s-10's go out the window ...

Pros: Looked great, good handling, nice interior, decent gas mileage Cons: The proverbial money pit. Numerous electrical problems; a/c and heater never worked properly. The Bottom Line: Unless you have more time and money on your hands than you know what to do with, and a spare vehicle to drive, steer clear of this vehicle.
Let me preface this review by stating that I am not someone who writes letters of complaint to companies, letters to the editor, and reviews on any topic. However, I feel so passionate about our experience with the Chevy S-10 that I just can't restrain...

Pros: V-6 has nice power, good mileage, comfortable and dependable. Cons: Visors, shorted out and elastic keeper stretched. Windshield wipers go out on Chevy's The Bottom Line: Overall I'm real happy with my truck, but not impressed with the 4 cylinder/autos reliability. Mine has been a pleasure to own and drive.
I bought the truck new in July 94, it has always had good power. Cruise control maintains speed going uphill in southern missouri, loaded and pulling a motorcycle trailer with three bikes on it. It currently has 96K miles on it and still seems to run...

Pros: Engine Keep running and running Cons: Carbon Buildup, Poor Gas Mileage The Bottom Line: Great for able bodied people who dont mind 3-4 part replacments a year. I would drive from coast to coast even with 127,000 miles. Easy Repairs.
In 1998 I purchased a 1994 S-10 Blazer 2-Door, 4-WD with the High Output 4.3L Vortec Engine. When I got the truck it had 63,000 miles, now in 2003 it had 127,000. I never question the truck will run, but I have spent a good chunk of money keeping it...

Pros: Powerful, Versatile, Reliable Cons: Lots of Small Problems The Bottom Line: Excellent as a big, powerful, work/ cold-weather vehicle, but probably a mistake for the daily commute.
As a workhorse, this vehicle is very tough, but as a daily commuter, its a bit rough around the edges. It has very good cargo capacity (mine is 2-door, but the 4-door has even better), a big, powerful engine, and the 4WD works very well.

Pros: Nice looking, dependable, good gas mileage Cons: none
I bought my truck a couple of months ago because I have always wanted a truck. It had a little 4-cylinder in it, so I knew it would get good gas mileage. It does. I get about 25 miles to the gallon.
My favorite part about the truck is the way...
