Pros: High mileage-not a problem with this truck Cons: Lack of power when compared to your V-8's
I bought a 1990 Toyota 4X4, V-6, Automatic, Deluxe SR-5
about 5 years ago with 64,000 miles on it.
This particular truck unlike many came with a rare,
from the factory options package. (Longbed + Automatic
Transmission)...

Pros: reliability, smoothness Cons: not four wheel drive
Toyota pickups have always been known for their reliability. That is why when I shopped for a pickup I chose a 1992 Toyota over the competition. It runs very smooth and I have had no troubles with it. The only maintenance I have done is change oil...

Pros: Dependable Cons: Smallish Interior
Recently I was in the market for a good, dependable, inexpensive four wheel drive truck. I looked at Jeeps, Nissans and Fords, but none were comfortable, cheap or reliable enough for me. Then I found this '87 Pickup and i was sold. It was very solid and...

Pros: acceleration, consistency, good in wrecks, great glass Cons: dealer service, Toyota Motor Company, brake pulsation, cheap plastic The Bottom Line: expect certain things to go out, but this is probably a vehicle with 200,000 useful miles in it before it bites it; don't partly disrobe and lock the keys in
Awhile back I read a challenge in someone's Epinion: go back and delete or rewrite your worst Epinion. Your real Richard Smoker.
Well, it wasn't a difficult choice: this one was my third, and it got five ratings from hardy souls,...

Pros: Great truck for the money! Cons: The paint that they used on this model year is not the best. The Bottom Line: I would recommend Toyota trucks to anyone.
My husband and I have owned a 1990 Toyota xtra-cab since it was brand new and over 100,000 miles later, still own it. This truck has never required any major service other than typical fluid changes and tune ups. This truck has been through alot (Florida ...

Pros: Body style, paint, overall reliability Cons: Wish the fuel economy was better!
This truck I bought new and has been "Unbelievable"! I purchased this vehicle from Frank Dunn Toyota in Prince Albert Sask. and at the time they offered a "Lifetime Rust Protection Package" to the original owner. This vehicle has 285,000 kms. on it and still looks like it just came off of the showroom floor. The dealership has to this date done all the maintanance required including oil changes and reccommended timing belt replacements. In 15 years the truck has had only two very small rust bubbles which were corrected by the dealership under the warranty they had sold me upon purchasing the truck! There is hardly a day goes by now when I'm driving the truck that someone don't ask me if I would like to sell it. My nicest question is usually from older people asking,.."Is that truck New?" With a Product like this and a Dealership to match, I feel I have the "Winning Combination"!
