Pros: Versatile loading, quiet, impressive cleaning power, nice controls. Cons: As a nitpick, some more small item clips for the upper rack would be nice.
I've only had the dishwasher for about three days now, so these are just my first impressions. First, the more I read about dishwashers leading up to this purchase, the more I realized there is no perfect dishwasher out there. Specifically, every one ...
Pros: Extremely quiet! Adjustable top rack. Stainless tub & power scour.
Cons: Stainless steel panel is hard to keep clean.
This is the best dishwasher I have ever owned. It replaced my builder grade model that was installed in my custom home 7 years ago. This model has all the bells and whistles. Hard food grinder, stainless tub, easy adjustable top rack, power scour, ...

Pros: Very quiet. Needs no pre-rinsing in sink. Cons: Arrived broken. Doesn't hold much. Adjustable tines in the way. Doesn't dry well.
Arrived with adjustable top rack which would not close in down position. Took over a month to replace, and moves fine only when empty. With light load, right side will not stay in up position. Fancy and flexible loading features are a nuisance, such that I cannot load nearly as much as my 20 year old washer, and run it more frequently. Doesn't dry as well either, I'm told because of the energy savings feature (less heat). Cleans well, except oatmeal. I expected much better from top-of-the-line model. Soap dispenser wont open if silverware placed in silverware slots nearest dispenser.
Pros: Great interior design, low water usage, in-the-door utensil rack Cons: bad motor design, early dishwasher death.
Whirlpool has an inherent problem with all of their horizontal motors. The design allows water to slowly leak into the motor bearing causing corrosion. This will cause premature breakdown of the motor housing and seize the motor. Most service complaints are a loud hum and no operation. Ours died 9 days after the 2 yr parts warranty expired. Even if they guaranteed the motor, labor alone would have cost more than half of the purchase price. We decided to buy a Maytag. Consumer Reports rated them best in service/repair.
My family uses the dishwasher daily after bedtime because we prefer to spend time with our kids rather than wash dishes.
