I struggled with my AT&T Wireless service while i had this phone, so that may be part of the problem i had with it. That said though, it definitely wasn't ALL of the problem i had with it.

My overall impression of this phone is that they spent 90% of the time designing it and about 5% of the time testing it. The other 5% of the time i don't know.

The most aggravating thing about this phone is how slow it is. It literally takes more than a full minute before it's fully booted up, and even then it's still frustratingly slow.

Also, the reception is HORRIBLE. I've literally been on I-5, in downtown Seattle, and had the thing drop calls on me. And don't even consider using this phone outside of a MAJOR metropolitan area.

Up sides? I hate to be this negative, but i seriously can't think of one thing i liked about this phone. It's way more aggravating than it is useful. Maybe that's why AT&T Wireless recalled it and sent me the updated T226 model (not a whole hell of a lot better, but at least usable).

After several Ericsson Phones I am not to pleased with my latest T68i buy. From day one it did not live up to its long standby time quoted and the reason for my purchase - only a few days possible and far less than my lovely trustworthy T20 it replaced. It frequently freezes and have to be cold booted. The microphone now distorts the sound and the volume control has failed. Most disturbing having now moved overseas is that the previous excellent Ericsson world wide guarantee no longer exist - so now I have a 3 month old phone ready for the bin or expensive repair for me to pay.

It has a wealth of features and the interface with Outlook via Bluetooth or infrared is useful although not very user friendly or well documented.

The joystick control is a nice feature but not well suited for operation by large male fingers.

I got this Phone 8 months ago and i don`t seem to have too much of probs. with it. But yes ofcourse there is no polyphonic ringontes ,menu`s are slow to navigate and sometimes theres a reception problem but apart from that everythings just next to perfect in this phone .

I HAD THE PHONE FOR ALMOST A YEAR NOW AND I CANNOT BELIEVE THE INFERIORITY OF THIS PHONE'S SIGNAL RECEPTION. SONY-ERICSSON HAS INVESTED A LOT OF TIME ON THE GIZMOS ASPECT OF THE PHONE'S DESIGN BUT FORGOT ALL ABOUT BASICS WHICH IS BEING A COMMUNICATION TOOL.
