Pre-G3 Mac users beware! It wasn't until the unit stopped working 10 months after I bought it and tried using SmartDisk's Web site for technical support that I found they do not support the unit on "pre-G3" PowerMac systems. Nowhere was this stated in the online specs for the unit nor the documentation that came with the unit. I was also never able to re-write a CD, but I attributed that to either a system or user deficiency.
